Likes
- Infrastructure and food cafeteria is a go-to place. The crowd is also great.
- The life is amazing. College is close to Chandigarh and you can explore the north cities on trips etc.
Dislikes
- I dislike some unnecessary rules. Like there is a uniform in college and also no slippers, ripped clothes are allowed till 4pm.
- And the number of students is also alot. So it gets a little crowded at times.
Remarks :
The college is overall amazing. I heard alot about its rankings so i took admission here. And the criteria for admission is based on your 10th and 12th and JEE mains score. Without jee exam no admission is allowed now
Course Curriculum Overview :
So the curriculum is well structured. Almost all subjects are taught properly. Whereas the college also bring external trainers to teach core subjects like DSA, coding etc. This helps in placements prep alot. There are frequent exams almost every month we have evaluations and the difficulty level of exams is average.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i also got an internship. And my package is 10.5 lace. And stipend is 50 thousand. And it is a big MNC in Bangalore. The college provides full assistance in placements . They take placement season very seriously and hive opportunities
Placement Experience :
The placements for our batch has been great. Almost 350+. Companies visited the campus placing around 1500+ students. So the placements are far better than other private colleges. Various companies like Hp, philips visit
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So basically the fees per semester for our course was 82 thousand. There is 5000 security fees at the time of admission. But the fees keeps increasing by 5-10% every year. So you can calculate accordingly. There is scholarship available for EWS students.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is really fun. If you have the right circle around you can make the most of your college life. The infrastructure is amazing. The college has really beautiful campus..very clean and green always. There are various clubs for theatres,dance, language, modelling,music etc. there is a huge library with laptops and books.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good. There are options for single seater rooms, four seater rooms..ac rooms non ac rooms. Common washrooms room and attached washroom rooms. And fees varies from 60k to 1 lac. The mess is good very spacious and the food is hygienic and healthy. There is a weekly menu with 4 meals and various options. Mess staff is also very friendly and you can always share your review to make things better.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
