My personal experience
Remarks :
I had given their test and it was alright for admission or we can give Jee Mains exam result and there was 75% attendance compulsory for first 3 years but it wasn't same as there were students with less than 50% who had given medical certificate (only in 3rd year) and the placement facility is decent will not help you much as you enter in last year if you took in 6-7 semester maximum they will be assisting you till that time only then they will be focusing on junior students. Faculty was cooperative sometimes but majorly they want only bright students like every private college and also there was a rule if you get placed in first company at low package and then you decide to give other interview in other company you can't. The best part for the college was friends
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in cyber security so i chose it and thought will chose it in 3rd year but there was no placement support so switched it. The faculty can help you some faculties are brilliant and supportive they will give you attendance and others if you tell them you are working on something productive and they will guide you further and exams were descent but the time was always less because a semester of 6 months almost ended in 4 months in average and it was about for every semester and then they just give you extra classes for those whose attendance is short. Sometimes it was difficult to grab things and syllabus was so vast sometimes we were unable to cope up and some faculties didn't even care.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The registration fees was 10000 and i paid 164000 per year (82000 per semester) and as i have availed hostel for first two years so i was charged 5000 as security deposit and 1,04,000 per year (52000 per semester) for non ac rooms with 3 sharing and food was included in it. The mess food was decent not too good for everyday but never mind. There was additional 10% increase in the fees for freshers but for old ones it remained same. The main issue was whenever we need to go out we need a gate pass approved by our family which is hectic and sometimes difficult also because the warden or mentor are not on their seat then we have to wait for them and sometimes their system did not work so gate pass could not be approved. It is good but sometimes when we have urgency its tough for us. My colleague who opted for day scholars and bus facility have to pay max 52000 per year depending on the various route.
Campus Life :
There were 1-2 fests or parties in 2 months and during fresher time they were all of sudden 7-10 in month but then they decrease it. The library have decent amount of books and library were air conditioned. Water coolers were at a little distance but the water was chilled during summer. There was court for badminton but you have to wear non marking shoes and bring your own racket and shuttle and there was pool and snooker table whose charges were decent for a group on hour bases. There were various groups for students for coders, gamers and some other curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities :
I had lived in hostel for 2 years. The food quality was not much good a decent one but the snacks and dinner were most tasty. In dinner because of the sweet dish only food was pretty average. The menu was vast there was very few a time which both vegetables were not average. Then i lived in Rajpura (Gagan Chowk) and then i bring my personal vehicle then i lived in Zirakpur in flat in Vip Road and my friends lived in Banur in Housefed Society

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Placements are average on comparison with other private colleges around here Highest package this year - 11.3Lpa The teachers help very much in placements and internship . The TPC cell of the college is dead for their work

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
