- No holidays after the semester completion and very few holidays in between semester.
- Attendance is mandatory for getting the degree
- Too many assignments have to be submitted
Remarks :
KGMU is my dream college so I decided to take admission here. For admission one needs to secure a rank in top 100 in CNET exams conducted by ABVMU and be ready with the required documents for the same.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is supportive, well educated and experienced. The curriculum promotes evidence based practices in nursing and practical requirements are met. Assignments are quite more in number. Overall it encourages time management.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is within the hospital of KGMU and provides exposure to almost every department of the hospital and gives an opportunity for the skill enhancement in the clinical area. The internship is of 6 months that is 8th semester.
Placement Experience :
The placement are not given by the college. One has to clear all the backlogs and receive no dues from college to apply for registration number. After that, one call apply for the examination for the jobs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the first year is nearly Rs. 40000(for genera) and nearly 35000(for reserved categories). The fees for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year is Rs. 26000 for general and Rs. 20000 for the reserved categories including hostel.
Campus Life :
The fest is Rhapsody, a 3 day fest organised in the month of September or October. Books are available easily in library in college and central library. Celebration of sports day is started from this year for the nursing college. Extra curricular activities are also promoted.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel has all the facilities. Adequate lighting and working fans and switches are present in room along with furniture and a reading room in hostel is also there. The registration for hostel can be done anytime in the office.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
