- I like the Classroom Environment in my College and Some Teachers support for students, Clinical exposure in the hospitals
- Also the Campus life experiences , training programs, webinar, sports , cultural festival.
Dislikes
- The lots of assignment work and presentation work for students and attendance strictness for eligibility in the Final semester exam
- The lack efficiency in the offices of University regarding students work
Remarks :
Good aspects are that our college is best for nursing students it is No. 1 College of Nursing in the Uttarpradesh, because it covers all the basic requirements of students to become a good nurse KGMU have all the Medical Department for Nursing Practices and its provide skilled nurses for personal and professional development of students by providing training during the clinical duty . Also it conducted various training programs and seminars for students to develop skills to provide quality care to the patients in the hospital Bad aspects are there is lots of assignment work for students and also Presentation work There is strict rules for attendance and semester exam eligibility There is lack of efficiency in the offices of the college regarding students work Admission process is students have to pass entrance examination of UPCNET then take participation in Counseling process and Take Admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this for job security and easy to clear Qualification of the faculty's are Masters and PHD in Nursing and teaching methods are practical and demonstrations based. Lab hours conducted for clinical nursing skills Term exams are conducted every 2 months There is 2 term exams in a semester Difficulty level of term exams are easy .
Internships Opportunities :
There is Unpaid Internships in the hospital for nursing students in the last year in 8th semester. It is clinical duty Both Day and Night but no payment for nursing students. Companies are not coming to hire nursing students because medical field is not companies work
Placement Experience :
There is no placement in the medical college After completing the Course Students can practice in private hospitals and practice as a CHO in the Government hospital. Second best option is preparing for entrance examination of Nursing Officer in the Government hospital and clear the exam and take Government Job in the Hospital as a Nursing Officer, Senior Nursing, and Assistant Nursing Officer. The Salary for Nursing officers are starting 80k -90k per month And For CHO it is 30K-35K per months My plan is to clear Government exams for nursing officer
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise students paid is 19900 for SC/ST /OBC and 24900 for General Candidates. The tution fees , caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees, and the other compulsory charges during the course completion are 34600 for SC /ST/OBC Candidates and 40000 for General candidates The Scholarship for students who have come under non-government occupation of parents with less than 4 lakhs salary per annum is getting total fee reimbursement and extra expenses including hostel fees also
Campus Life :
The Fest happened every year is Rapshody in the month of October. All international and national writer's books are available in the library for medical studies Journals and research papers also available in the campus Library . There is wifi in all over the campus , security camera , Projector with screen and Mike with sounds and Good quality furniture and Air Conditioners are Available in the classrooms . Sports activities like Georgian Premier League and Annual Sports are conducted every year . There is musical society of KGMU by BDS and MBBS and Nursing Students.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality in the mess is not very good but moderate and variety of foods available according to the Day and both non veg and veg foods available with sweets, salat and fruits . Registration Process for is easy you have to fill a form for hostel at the time of admission and submit it to Proctor office of University Hostel fees is 4900 per year I haven't rented a room but here rooms are available in the locality called khadra Chungi

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
