- The best thing about my college is my degree which is eligible all over India for PG entrance examination and other states vacancies.
- Faculty of SMS MEDICAL COLLEGE is very educated. Mainly professor and senior doctors teach us for various subjects.
Dislikes
- The most hated thing by BSc RT students is didn't get experience on CT Scan and MRI Because A private hospital got tender for CT Scan and MRI so they cannot give us experience about CT & MRI
- There are no proper classes for Paramedical students in medical College

SMS MEDICAL COLLEGE JAIPUR are one of the best medical College for Paramedical under Rajasthan University of health science The college degree value is high as compared to another college in rajasthan This college provide us hospital prectical duties for experiences Also This college is associated to INDIAN SOCIETY OF REDIOGRAPHER AND TECHNICIAN that provides us valuable degree.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Batchelor of science (Radiation technology) is degree program which is use in diagnosis disease of body with radiation (X Ray) and megnetic waves (MRI) Under this course we operate different kind of radio diagnostic machines 1. X Ray machine 2. USG (sonography) 3. DEXA 4. OPG DENTAL X RAY 5. CT SCAN 6. MRI 7. MEMOGRAPHY 8. RADIOTHERAPY 9. SPECIAL INVESTIGATION 10. FLUOROSCOPY and etc.
Internships Opportunities :
After BSc RT course complete their is no intership. During BSc RT we do practical duties in SMS Hospital for experience RUHS interduse intership for 24-2025 batch along with practical duty Time period of intership is 6 months after course computation
Placement Experience :
After graduation we will applicable for Rajasthan vacancy rajasthan govt provides percentage based vacancy for ARG (assistant rediographer) post after 2 year of provisional period we got rediographer post for 5 years then permote into SRG (senior rediographer) The salary is based on post as like you are ARG you get starting salary 22,500 for one year after completing year you get 34k to 35k per month. In private sector salary depends upon your experience and knowledge.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
SMS MEDICAL COLLEGE JAIPUR is a Govt college so that the fee are low as compared to private medical College The fee of 1st year of BSc RT is 21,000 for general category or Rs 15,000 for SC/ST category 2nd & 3rd year fee are lower then 1st year are rs 21k each year Rs 5000 is caution money witch is refundable after your graduation Caution money are same for all category candidates. Fee are deposite single time in year that involves tuition fees, lab fees etc.. There is no management seat in BSc RT

I'm Abhishek Sharma student of SMS MEDICAL COLLEGE JAIPUR I'm pursuing BSc RT SMS MEDICAL COLLEGE is oldest medical College in rajasthan foundation at 1947 The campus of this college is large This compus includes medical library academic block hostel (UG & PG) RD play Ground canteen, mess and medical labs for practical knowledges In medical College campus have advanced labs for blood test as like AHL (Advance hematology Lab) pathology labs etc... BSc RT Classes are held in Paramedical Institute.
Hostel Facilities :
S.K Menon Hostel for UG MBBS students in college campus For PG Students have separate Hostel For regident doctors In all Paramedical course we didn't get any hostel facility and mess Only female students get hostel facility in Paramedical course. Hostel fee for girls are refundable after graduation.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
