Dislikes
- Washrooms are not properly maintained and they are not cleaned often and that smell is all around the floors
- Drinking water near wash rooms . The drinking water machines are placed near boys wash room at each floor
Remarks :
I got this College through 3rd counselling of tseamcet.it was a nice college before the chairman expired. I gave my ts EAMCET examination and my rank was around 42k and I got admitted to ece with this rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
While some facilities who are in higher positions such as deans are very good. Other than those are not up to the mark. The jntuh curriculum is followed but is not updated to the advancement in the new technologies. There are no efforts taken for any sort of student skill development. The exams are conducted with a tenure gap of 6 months as usual that is semester wise. I chose this course out of my core interest in vlsi technology.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship opportunities provided by the college. Students are forced to complete the internships from private institutions by paying their own money. I did 2 internships from coincent and jadavpur university.
Placement Experience :
The only placements to expect from this College is a call centre job .only off campus placements can help students. There must be a minimum aggregate of 8.00 cgpa and above to get good placement. the highest package offered for previous year was 6lpa and average is 1.30 lpa. I have no hopes on this College for good placements so I am planning to do my masters from abroad
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise they will be increased fee of minimum 10k.for general category students the fee ranges upto 120000/- and for reserved students scholarship will be covered based on their category.for management in ece is 1.50k and 4 lakhs for cse as of now. There is no merit cum need scholarships only government covered scholarships are considered. During the 1 st year of study an additional of 20k is charged as lab fee.
Campus Life :
We have two main leading clubs sac jbiet for social and non technical events and team clique of ece for technical events . Other than these clubs we have nss( national service scheme) and other clubs like code hub,echoes etc.. . Sports events are very rarely conducted that is once in a year. Every year a fest is conducted with new names in the months of April and may after completion of exams. The social life of students is way poor in this College. We have a annual fest where flashmobs, ethnic day and cultural events are conducted
Hostel Facilities :
I have not applied for a hostel but I have my hostel friends often complaining about food. The food is not hygienic. Locally the area is not that safe for girls to rent out a room as it is like a village area. Hostel students always suffer with health issues. During my 1st year of college girls came out to riots for the food change they were suppressed and the food continued to stay same.

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
