- The best part about the college infrastructure is that the college recently renewed their infrastructure with new dental chairs and equipment’s also the floors wallls everything is renews giving it a very fresh look
- The Campus is located close to the city of mangalore which makes it easy for the students to travel to city’s for various purposes also the area around the college is very student friendly as there are various staying facilities like PG and flats also lot of restaurants in affordable prices
Dislikes
- The faculty don’t care much about what u understand or learn you need to be self dependent and learn from the lectures and guide yourself or take help from the seniors .. it’s not like school where u can seek help anytime for small things from ur teachers ,,
- The college has a less number of cultural events that last hardly for a month ,, no much of inter college events ,, also the patient flow is less in few departments which makes it hard for the students to complete their quota and they need to find their own patients in order to complete the quota
Remarks :
Firstly need to clear the Neet exam ,, to get management seat all u need to do is clear your Neet exam by the given cutoff and the fee for the management quota remains same regardless of ur score especially if u are an nri the price is almost same for all that’s 3.5 to 7 lakh per year ,, college is good for people who are strong enough to face rough challenged and are not weak by heart ,, they need to be independent and self dependent to stick in this college ,, the infrastructure of the college is well good and patent flow varies from department to department
Course Curriculum Overview :
People usually choose dental as they do not get a seat in medical ,, for me I always wanted to become a dentist as it is less stressful and it’s basically depends on how good is your hand work ,, you can only take dental if u have interest in the field ,, usually the faculty have a degree of BDS & MDS in their respective teaching departments ,, every year there are 3 internal exams of 70 marks and ends with the university exam under RGUHS University with a medium to high difficulty level
Internships Opportunities :
Internship of one year needs to be completed in the same college you did ur bds ,, stipend is not provided if it is it will be around 3.5 k per months only .. internship is part of the course that’s 4 plus 1 year internship in same college
Placement Experience :
Once you complete your bachelor degree for dental u can work under a clinic or open your clinic ,, incase u wanna study further u have to clear the Neet PG exam for the admissions of specialised courses ,, incase u wanna study abroad after ur bds they have their own entrance exams which u need to clear ,,
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee for management quota varies from 3 lakh to 5 lakh per year and the college feee or 90 k per year also inclusive , my friends who came under different quota and merit seat got a fee of 80 k to 1.5 lakh per year
Campus Life :
Life at the campus if very lively,, firstly AJ is an hospital with various departments and buildings , the dental building is one of the dental hospital in which the students study and also perform procedures on the patients ,, you usually stay busy in the Campus in the departments u are posted doing ur clinical works ,, there are other facilities like football ground ,, gym , badminton courts , auditorium, smart lecture halls with ac , library and a digital library ,, canteens ,, every year there are cultural events in which both sports and arts related competitions take place in which the students can showcase their talent ,, various dance competitions and singing competitions also take place

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
