I was very impressed when I first went to google and searched "best cukinary college in india" and the top result; was, Indian School Of Hospitality. Being associated with the sommet education group and ecole ducasse (the best culinary college in the world- started by chef Alain ducasse). I got in touch with the admissions team and they told me all about the course and helped me with the admissions process. When I went to the campus for the first time, I was very impressed by the campus since every cuisine has a special kitchen to it. During cpvid (when my admission was done) there were 5 steps, namely, video call interview phone interview, psycographic test and two interviews out of which only the interviews were on campus but nowadays, the admission process has steps like group discussion, written essay about yourself and interviews. The minimum cutoff for the college is 50%, but the student should be fluent in english.
The course curriculum is perfect for future industry chefs, there are classes from as early as 8 somedays and can also go till 7 p.m. for culinary students but usually its from 9:30 a.m. till 5:15 p.m. The faculty is perfect for learning and they're very supportive to everyone learn and they're always free to even work extra time to help students
For the first year, the fee goes up to 12-13 lakhs, then the following years it reduces and goes to 5-6 lakh per year. That means 2 and a half lakh-3 lakh per semester. Financial aid is also available and students can avail it when they're joining college after having a conversation with the academic team and they will give you a discount on fees depending on various factors that they will evaluate. Scholorship is available on the basis of academics, attendance and how many credits the student has.
It's a very small campus and almost everyone from every batch knows everyone from every batch. The campus is very happening since there are a lot of events hosted by student societies very frequently and a lot of sports opportunities too.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
