- Best is definitely the exposure with the industry and its professionals and the closeness I have with the faculty and the vast experience they’re so comfortable sharing with us. Also the premium factor associated with my college I’ve only seen very posh crowd with big ambitions there.
- Secondly I like the strict grooming standards and the formal dress code that make us look very professional and preparing us to look as good as the people who study at Les Roches when we go
Dislikes
- I don’t like the fact that the course is so extensive and takes up all my time and is so rigorous along with little to no time for fun outside of college
- I don’t like the fact that we don’t have any sports everyday at college and I have to wear heels everyday
Remarks :
Yes so basically the interview process is quite long. Starts with a online form that has elaborate questions that understand your understanding of the course and ambitions and then further if that gets selected, you have an online interview, a Callido online test and then moving forward you have to go to the campus do one written essay then an interview with the dean, a discussion round with your peers and one professor and then an interview with the admissions head. Then If you’re selected you get an email in a week or two or more. In my case I got to know 3 weeks later.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So the course curriculum is made on international standards of sommet education so it’s a little difficult when it comes to food and beverage and alcohol topics but rest if you have interest in the industry you can do it. For the reason I have a strong desire to start a hospitality shift in the industry and in India and have a big entrepreneurial mindset so I joined this college because of the type of crowd and the interaction of guest lecturers that come from the industry to here. For the faculty and quality people from the industry who have work experience and strong personalities teach us so that’s beyond amazing and the method is online notes that they upload on college’s lms and we study from it and they present it in class and do activity based learning’s. We have internal assessments once or twice a semester then mcq’s thrice a semester and then one final exam per semester. Difficulty level for me personally is 7/10.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I was doing a mandatory 3rd semester internship at W Goa it’s a Marriott property. The college took my preference and got it arranged for 6 months and it was in all departments mainly Food and beverage mainly bar, sales, reservations, marketing, events, Front office, Kitchen and finance I did a lot of guest relations and public relations work and had an amazing experience. I got 5000 a month will 5 offs every month. The tasks varied but I got better treatment than other interns because I was from ISH
Placement Experience :
So the college does give you placement by your 3rd year itself even though it’s a 4 year program but it depends because some people don’t even take placements and start business or intergrate to Switzerland or Spain to Les roches where we have our tie up. But yes it’s up to the students to go and make network and get a good placement for a better opportunity You need to have no backlogs and a good attendance abover 75% to take a package JLL, Hilton, Leela, Marriott, DLF, Easydiner hire from us often. I’m not sure about the highest but I’ve seen people get 60L packages and also 6L for low. 60% of the people take up placements, rest are also offered but they don’t take. I plan to go to Switzerland for my last year and do an internship at a real estate firm and take up Guest relations there and take it forward.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year -700000 for tuition fee Then around -60000 caution fee 25000- summer experience for 5 days Registration fee-25000 I have a 150000 scholarship for my interview based merit and some students have up to 30-40% scholarship for various reasons.
Campus Life :
Social life is quite good since it’s a small college and not crowded so everyone is aware of who all are there and feels like a family of chosen ones. For clubs we have eventorium that runs the events and then hyple for social media and umami for catering and mascots for sales, diversity for arts and dance and we have a beautiful library but it only has industry related books and magazines. We have projcetors and very versatile classrooms. For sports we have a thing called ISHPL that happens twice a year and it has all the sports our sports field is a 5 min walk away from college and the college’s Instagram account ishstudentlife is run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
I stayed in the hostel for the first year and paid roughly 35000 for a month and it was a good option as I was staying with a roommate the hostel was beautiful it was Covie 108 and the food was different every day we got dinner everyday since breakfast and lunch college covered and for weekends we got all 3 meals. The food was good and the hostel had a gym, common area, foosball as well as table tennis and TV and sofa and comfortable seating. We got the college to sort every hostel thing sorted at the point of admission itself. The college bus pickup and drop was included in the hostel fee

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
