Remarks :

The reason I chose ISH was firstly the infrastructure they provided. It was very different from any private or government college of the same course I chose. The curriculum which was divided in 4 years not only covered HM but a wide scope of BBA and other domains which help me choosing other career options than hotels. I went through a group discussion and a personal interview. That not only was for the selection but it also was a huge part that catered to my decision-making of going to this college. The interview round followed up with a feedback session from the faculty who counseled us and gave us a picture of where we could see our footprints ahead. The preparation for this was nothing major. Know your basics before stepping in, brush up on your current affairs and just be confident about yourself and have a clear picture of who you are and what you want to be.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course has a lot to offer. It grooms you not only through books or exams but gives you the confidence to stand out when you step into reality. The college provides you with the best infrastructure, quality, and facilities but doesn’t hide you from the harsh reality the outside world holds for you. The faculty keeps you on your toes in the best way possible. They mold according to the way you learn the fastest. It’s not a lecture that you go to attend, it’s always an interactive session and discussion that makes you want to participate and open up and gain confidence. Exams were term-wise and we had a few class tests in between to stay brushed up about the topics. As mentioned I paid about 24 lakhs for 4 years. This does not include the accommodation prices, but since we are getting an affiliation from Les Riches, it’s completely worth it. Girls are provided with women's scholarships, plus if you have special merits academically or nationally they will consider them.

Internships Opportunities :

There are two internships you need to complete if you opt for the 4-year course. I did both my internships in The Leela Palace New Delhi. In my first internship I did the 4 core department training and in my second I interned in the HR department. I was given a wide range of selections of 5-star hotels and event companies. College offers a wide range of opportunities but you have to give an interview for the internships as well. I was exposed to multiple sectors during my internship and was offered a job opportunity directly from corporate Leela itself from the HR department.

Placement Experience :

ISH provides a wide range of placements. It all depends on the transparency and seriousness you hold to it. ISH makes it happen in whatever domain you are looking The package you are placed at is higher than any other college and I vow on my words when I say that. Take your research, exams, and internships seriously, at the end everything molds down to what you will be eligible for. The students who are serious and ambitious the sky is the limit that the college has to offer.

Campus Life :

If you are looking for a fun and elite college life then for sure ISH has you covered. Every other Friday the societies come together to host events like mask balls, prom, food feast, sports events, and much more The library has everything you need for your course We have a sports club, events , creative arts, public speaking , cooking , social media and much more. You participate and run the entire club, faculty only assist but runs by students only. Hostels are a home away from home. They are comfortable and you have the best facilities provided, you can cook on your own, but everything is available within walking distance, from street food to medical stores, to movie theatres to basic needs stores. I would initially recommend living in a hostel and getting familiar with the area and then shifting to a flat, cost-wise wise is almost the same for both.

Placement Experience :

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
