- Infrastructure, it is one of the best in india.
- No reservation policy and zero percent attendance.
Dislikes
- There is nothing to dislike this collage, just the fees is bit higher.
- Also there are mostly rich people which can make a poor person doubt themselves.
Remarks :
Bits is one f the best institutes in india with no reservation and great facilities, the only drawback about this collage is its fees which is worth if u do well in collage. The exam name is BITSAT and it is 3rd most popular exam after jee mains and advance. The minimum cutoff to get into collage this year was 234 marks out of 390. There are many courses available online and offline for this exam with test series like mathongo and phone club, these help me to get into this collage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose msc bio because it is easier as compared to other Mac courses, and Mac courses gives us choose BE course in 2nd year based on cgpa. Every faculty is phd qualified from great institutions like iisc and many other foreign universities. Exams are conducted as mid sems and end sems with approx 2 quizzes each subject.
Internships Opportunities :
Not now as I am in first year. But there are many opportunities for internship. There is one paid internship and one in which we have to pay. Every student do internship based on their cgpa. the avg stipend is about 80k.
Placement Experience :
There are certain minimum cgpa barriers for sitting for particular companies. Top Recruiters: Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc. Average Package: ?20-25 LPA for CSE/IT; ?10-15 LPA for core branches. Highest Package: Over ?50 LPA (often for tech roles). Placement rate exceeds 95% for most branches. To continue doing job and do MBA after 5 to 6 year being employed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees is about 7lakh per anum including everything like hostel, mess etc. Admission fees- 57000 semester fees- 259000 hostel and mess fees-20650 electricity fees- 10000 There are quotas for students whose parents salary is less then 15lpa combined.
Campus Life :
There are 3 main fest. Waves the cultural fest, Quark the technical fest and spree the sports fest. Most of the books and journals are available in library and everything is perfect as needed. each and every sports are present in campus with collage teams inducting students every year. There are more than 60 clubs and departments on campus for every kind of passionate student. Department of publicity and pr, Abhigyan, devsoc and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is good with a lot of diversity. registration is mainly done online with offline document verification. The hostel is inside the campus only, the location is south goa, vasco da gama.....

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because the course covers all the aspect of commerce field . The teaching method and quality is also very good . We have smartboard in every classroom . All the professors use smartboard to teach . We have 3 isa in which 1st one is compulsorly and in 2nd and 3rd isa we get improvement chance which helps us to score better in term exam as the marks of isa are added in term exam .

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum

Placements and internships are good there are two internship seasons named as PS1 and PS2 which is based on our curriculum. During the past 2 years the placements have not been that great because of the ongoing recession. But still companies are coming with less packages and students are getting placed but frequency is less. My plan after the degree is to get some job experience and then I will try to go pursue MBA.

Great ! You can get it easily in your preferred city/country. There are many hotels which are linked to iihm so interships and placements are easily available in your preference. Good fot that reason.

Faculty are very experienced and distinguished personalities they are very knowledgeable in their fields. The course here is very tough. Scholarship is available in 2 channels 1st is merit scholarship, the 2nd is merit cum need scholarship.

On campus placements are offered every year. The highest package last year was around 60 lakh while the lowest was 8lpa. Out of all the students only one student wasn't placed which gives us almost 100% placement rate. Almost all top companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.

Placements are excellent. Top companies have hired freshers from here . My branch CSE has 100% placement rate and overall all branches have 99% placement rate . Usually students are offered on campus placements so there is no need to go for off campus opportunities
