Honest review of Sri Vasavi engineering college
Remarks :
There are many good aspects to join this college.One is there is lot of placement opportunities to attend.There are around 15 to 20 companies will visit the college to give select students and give their opportunity.For many companies there is 3 rounds .first one written test which has aptitude and basic multiple choice questions.And second is group discussion will conduct for 10 members.If they clear written test and group discussion then they are allowed for interview round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Frankly I choose this course for my parents interest but slowly I got interested in this course. And I learned many course subjects and it improved my creative thinking and skills by this.Anf the faculty members are also very nice and they clarify every student doubts clearly without any issues.There is 2 mid exams per 1 semester.The gap between each mid exam is nearly 3 months.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Firstly for the management students,they have to pay the donation according to their branches like cse, ece, civil, mechanical, EEE.After that have to pay admission fee around 1500 rupees.And the tution fee is 63000 rupees per year.Hostel fee is 70000 rupees per year.
Campus Life :
There are many technical fest for students to participate which is also useful for their course subjects and improve their skills and creative thinking in this.This college has huge library and many books to learn about course and also journals. There are many indoors and outdoors games.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are available in college itself. You can apply for hostel rooms in college administration cabin. Then they will allocate a room according to your sharing rooms. Hostel mess is also very hygiene and it has quality food. They provided non veg once In a week.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
