Dislikes
- The crowd in the eating places or hangout places in university isn't that appreciable
- Some faculty professors are just too egoistic
Remarks :
I choose this university because I analysed that this is the best university in North India for cse and as per my cousin's recommendation too. No scholarship tests to get in the University. You just have to score 60+ percentage in 12th boards
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties in my university are helpful and cooperative and if you're facing any problem they'll help you with resources. Curriculum is also reflexible as per student need. Exams are always CBT. And the level isn't that tough.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted any internship yet as I'm in my 1st year yet. But the internship opportunities starts from Semester 6th and goes to 8th semester till the student is placed and opportunities are evenly distributed to students
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities and placements are average in my university as the employment rate is dropping rapidly in IT field but you'll be placed at atleast 3-4 LPA package at the end andthe increment depends on your hardwork. Companies like Infosys, microsoft, wipro helds placement in our university
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every semester there's a tuition fee of 120000 with hostel fee 67000 for 6 months and yeah for upcoming year students the fee will increase by 10000-20000. No quota for minor category like Sc and ST caste.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of our university is really very good and the greenery is also maintained to keep students filled with fresh air. There are a lot of clubs for extra curricular activities to maintain a balance between education and fun.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is comfortable to live but mess food isn't that healthy. They only provide carbohydrates with 0 proteins. But apart from food hostel facilities are good and it costs 67000 4 seater non AC common washroom for 6 months including mess and laundry services. You can take any other preference of room as well with different prices

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
