- The college infrastructure is amazing it’s vast and well planned and amazing for students to roam around and get a fresh breath during studies or sports
- Campus is very friendly towards new comers and helps them around it is for sure one of the most non toxic colleges I have seen
Dislikes
- The only thing I don’t like is how far away sometimes lecture halls can be from hostels which causes students to sometimes skip lectures.
Remarks :
BITS was a clear choice for me because of its transparent administration and mainly the 0 attendance policy allowing students to utilise their time more efficiently and also developing necessary skills. To take admission here you need to give the BITSAT which is an entrance examination after which students are alloted a branch according to their scores.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academics are very relevant and necessary for students in their fields no unnecessary courses or topics are introduced to students which are not related to their fields. The exams here are of three types the end sems the mid sems and quizzes. Quizzes are short Mcq or numerical questions. Faculty is highly educated professionals and are always available for the students help with tutorial lectures and chamber consultation hours for one to one interaction with students
Internships Opportunities :
As of first year you cannot opt for any internships from campus but many professors would definitely help you landing them in first year itself if you have that particular field set. Some clubs also take you to industry visits where those companies may offer you a project or even an internship.
Placement Experience :
Job opportunity in IT AND CORE is both amazing as goa being a touristy spot attracts many companies to hire students not only Based on their cgpa but also their skills that they develop over their course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly for a student opted with BE or MSc will be paying roughly 6.4 lakh per year. Overall a BE student pays 28 Lakh over his course over 4 years and a Msc student pays about 37-40lakh. Bits also provides Merit and merit cum need scholarships. Merit scholarships are rather tough to get and about 40-50 students only get and it’s only 100% and 50%. Merit cum Need it given to many students with scholarships like 100% 80% and 50%.
Campus Life :
Bits goa especially is known for its vast club culture it has about 40-50 clubs amongst all categories like sports,cultural and technical too. Talking about extracurricular activities bits goa has tennis lawns, badminton courts, cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, kabaddi court you name it we have it. Bits is also known for its coding hacking and development culture with clubs like algomaniax, bitskreig and devsoc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels for first year students here are top notch it does get a little sad after first year tho it’s very manageable. First years are sorted with one roommate and have to live with them compulsarily. There are about 20 hostels in bits with 5 allowed to girls. Mess is absolutely amazing not as good as home but still amazing food to be made in bulk.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because the course covers all the aspect of commerce field . The teaching method and quality is also very good . We have smartboard in every classroom . All the professors use smartboard to teach . We have 3 isa in which 1st one is compulsorly and in 2nd and 3rd isa we get improvement chance which helps us to score better in term exam as the marks of isa are added in term exam .

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum
Bits goa - a different experience

Placements and internships are good there are two internship seasons named as PS1 and PS2 which is based on our curriculum. During the past 2 years the placements have not been that great because of the ongoing recession. But still companies are coming with less packages and students are getting placed but frequency is less. My plan after the degree is to get some job experience and then I will try to go pursue MBA.

Great ! You can get it easily in your preferred city/country. There are many hotels which are linked to iihm so interships and placements are easily available in your preference. Good fot that reason.

Faculty are very experienced and distinguished personalities they are very knowledgeable in their fields. The course here is very tough. Scholarship is available in 2 channels 1st is merit scholarship, the 2nd is merit cum need scholarship.

On campus placements are offered every year. The highest package last year was around 60 lakh while the lowest was 8lpa. Out of all the students only one student wasn't placed which gives us almost 100% placement rate. Almost all top companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.

Placements are excellent. Top companies have hired freshers from here . My branch CSE has 100% placement rate and overall all branches have 99% placement rate . Usually students are offered on campus placements so there is no need to go for off campus opportunities
