There are no group discussions , interview in the process of admission but you have to write EMACET exam which is common entrance exam for all the colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The factors that made me to choose this college is near to home, friendly environment.
I think the curriculum is all the same for the most of the btech colleges where it has 2 mid examinations , 1 lab internal, 1 lab external and 1 sem examination for each sem. Apart from this some the faculty conducts class test to check your knowledge
I have not yet opted for any internship as I am studying in 2nd year but as per seniors they have mentioned that college even provides paid internship to the students.
The placements in this college starts from 3rd year . According to seniors they said around 23 companies come to college to recruit students. 60% of the students gets selected by the companies and 10% students go for higher education
For management quota students have to pay 2.5L per year For those who come from entrance exam they have to only pay the course fee which varies from 43k - 50k For who have opted for fee reimbursement they have to only pay 10k which is building fee Excluding this all the students should pay exam fee at the time of sem exams (Building fee is common for every student)
Social life in college is very good , where you learn about what you good at and make some new friends and you group up with them for projects etc. Infrastructure is petty good in my opinion compared to other colleges in my locality. Extracurricular activities in our college is conducted every months or 50 days once to boost students creativity and help overcome there fear of stage
I am a hostal student but I heard that it is very good compared to pg's and hostel which is outside college. The quality of food in hostel is also good. The warden is very friendly and supportive.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
