Remarks :

There is a written examination which is commonly know as Comed-K for the students who are from outside of the Karnataka region. For the students who reside in Karnataka they can avail addmission through K-CET. Students can get admitted to the college by the management quota also but the fees is very high through the management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is somewhat okay. The branch is very strict in terms of attendance and grading. The academics of the college is not very good because the branch does not supports you to grow in the field of your choice. Some of the faculties are very good in terms of teaching and some are very friendly too. But talking about some of the faculties they are very strict in terms of teaching and also very strict in terms of attendance. You may face some linguistic issues but moreover it's not a very big issue

Internships Opportunities :

No, I am just in the 2nd year of college and till now I haven't got any opportunity for any internships. If they provide you opportunities also then it is a paid internship opportunity which is of no use to you. You won't be learning anything from that.

Placement Experience :

Eligibility- The eligibility criteria for placements is that you should not hold a backlog in any subject and you should have a CGPA of more than 7-7.5 A total of around 1500-1600 students opt to go for the placements and around 100-1200 are placed every year. The highest package for the batch 2021-2025 is around 57 LPA and the average package goes around 5-6 LPA. Better option would be, if you land in this college anyhow then you can complete your degree here and focus on some competitive exams or go for higher studies else if you are very good at your work then you can go for some startups kinda thing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total tuition fees and miscellaneous fees for 4 years is around 12 lakhs. The per year fees is around Rs 280000. There are multiple programmes for scholarships which could be availed through the NSP(National Scholarship Programme) and for the state students by the SSP(State Scholarship Programme). Lab fees and extra included fees are around 20000.

Campus Life :

The campus life is not very great but you can get a decent college life out here. The play-ground is somewhat very small and there are very low chances of enjoying different sports. The social life in the campus is good because the students out here hang out and the area around the college is very good to hang out. There are different fests conducted outta here in the month of November, February. The biggest fest is Furore while Taranga is the new fest which is booming out to the best in the new campus area. The library is good with a decent number of books. The clubs are good and yes there is a club namely Point Blank which is considered to be very good in the college but there is a branch barrier to join different clubs.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel fees is very high so I didn't opt for hostels. Besides you can get good PG's near to the college in under a radius of 300-400 metres. You can get rooms and it would be affordable if you rent the room with a group of friends.

Quality Education In Minimal Fees

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

BSc Physics at Jain University

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

MSc Physics at Christ

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

A review by a normal college student

Placement Experience :

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
