- The Canteens. The food is affordable and has a lot of varieties.
- Sports complex. There are multiple sports which you can play, but they are available only after 3:30.
Dislikes
- Travelling. The traffic while coming and going.
- Too many classes. Hard to find friends. There are over 1200 first years only.
Remarks :
Pros: Firstly the campus is amazing. The management is very organised and helpful. The biggest plus was a seperate division for HRD in simple words place ment training cell. Secondly the college was ranked among the top 5 in Karnataka. Cons: Travelling. I travel 12kms daily for college and it on average takes me 1 hr 30 mins. And the most optimal timing is leaving before 7:30. Once it touches 8:30 the traffic just piles up and can also take more than 2hrs to reach the college. This is because of all the tech parks in the surroundings.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the teachers are PHD Graduates and I have enjoyed their teaching uptil now. There are one or two teachers who are not tht easy to communicate with or reach out to. But majority of them are good. They also have their own parents and stuff going on which u can take part in.
Placement Experience :
I still don't know much abt the actual placements process but we do have a seperate cell for placement training and a HRD department for attracting more companies. We have 50 plus major companies participating in the placement program.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I joined thru management. For management if u apply in March-April your fees will be 2L without any donation per year and 8L for 4yrs. The more you delay the more the price increases. In my case I applied in June and got seat for 2.5L per year and a total of 10L for 4 years. I hav friend who have paid even 3L per year for the same course but the applied late.
Campus Life :
I'm part of a club made specifically for first years and it's been a lovely journey till now. There are more than 40 clubs (including co-curricular and extra-curricular). They are all well backed by the college. We have 3 Canteens and 2 stalls. Main canteen is an all veg Udupi and other 2 are non-veg. There is a seperate chats stall and a Nescafe stall as well. Fest we have many fests throuout the year the biggest one being Sargam where the star of the show was Baadshah this yr. Other events consist of gaming, coding/hackathons, sports and mind games. There is an online as well as offline library with all study material required as well as previous year question papers.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
