- Old Hostels were not upto the mark . Lack of cleanliness.

Remarks :
The selection procedure is based on JEE marks … there is no need to go for gd and Pi. Apply through jee main, appear for JEE and secure good marks to get in Vssut… there will be some procedures to verify ur academics
Course Curriculum Overview :
Excellent faculties with great experience of learning and they are more focused on letting students know about the practical knowledge rather than theories. They are approachable and can solve your query whenever u want.
Internships Opportunities :
I got an internship In CPWD Bhubaneswar through Vssut… the experience was really good. I got so many friends over there and gained more practical knowledge on the domain that is civil engineering. Over al it’s a good experience
Placement Experience :
Placement is great over there . They invite more than 40 companies per year. And if u r good in study and have some general knowledge regarding ur domain then it’s enough to get placed over there. Best of luck

There are many clubs which do events and allow others to participate to showcase their extra curriculum. If u r a person who loves extra curricular activities then vssut will be great choice for you .
Hostel Facilities :
The infrastructure of hostels are little messy but the new buildings like Pulaha and Marichi are quite good for boys hostel . Girls hostel provide safety and security at the same time. Hostels have some restrictions and they do conduct survey through ur family regarding ur issues

A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
