This college was the best one my rank could give me. And the reason it was easy to commute was also why I chose this college. The admission process was pretty smooth, there were no problems. You only have to confirm the seat through whatever quota you're joining through, clear the annual fee and visit the college to submit the seat confirmation certificate and other necessary documents.
I was interested in computer science. And I heard good feedback on CSE staff from an alumni. As for what I've experienced, I'd say that the overall qualification of the faculty is decent. There are some professors who are really good and some who are not as good. For our term exams, we have 2-3 internal tests each semester with semester exams being at the end of the semester.
We're offered one internship through the college but that usually happens at the end of the second year or at third year. As far as I know, it's an unpaid internship. The faculty suggests some courses or projects we can do in the first two years of the college before providing us with an internship.
Placements are not really good in this college. Most eligible students get hired in bulk and some people although rarely manage to crack a package around 10lpa. Most hiring companies are TCS, Bosch, Capgemini, Cognizant etc. Not many student get placed so many people try off-campus or proceed with higher studies.
For students joining through KCET, the annual fee would be around 1,50,000 per year. And for students joining through Comedk, the annual fee would be around 2,15,000-2,25,000. As for students in management quota. It'll cost 3,00,000-3,50,000 per year. Overall, it's pretty affordable compared to other colleges.
We have one main fest that happens every year called 'Ananya' and it usually is conducted in the month of May. As for library, I'd say it's pretty decent. we've many books related to many different fields to choose from. And regarding sports, we have one sports day every year and some sports events are held every now and then. Clubs in this college are not that active except when there's an event.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
