- The location of the college is beautiful and the view is amazing.
- Most of the faculty are very friendly and helpful.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not the best. Most of the buildings are old and technology used is quite old.
- Even though the view is amazing, as the college is on top of a hill, it is extremely difficult to walk to the college.
Remarks :
I wrote the keam exam this year and got a rank of 10k. The cutoff for cse at this college under general merit was under 15k. This was the best possible option available for me at this rank and also i preferred a college in malabar side.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This is a college under apj abdul kalam university. Therefore the curiculum is easy compared to other universities. But ktu is not the best of them. It has got a lot of flaws. But the teachers in my college are quite helpful and willing to complete the portions within the limited time.
Placement Experience :
As i am a first year student I don’t have a very clear idea about placements. But from what i heard it is quite average. The average package in cse department is 4-5 lpa and almost 60-70 percent of the students get placed every year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for students joined the college in merit is 40k. And 60k for management quota. The fee for nri students is 100k per year. At first i paid around 54k including other fees such as pta fees etc. students of st, sc communities and ews category has fee reduction. Scholarship is also provided by different organisations. Mostly around 10k
Campus Life :
The college is situated above a hill in thalassery. Therefore the view from the college is incredible especially during winters. There is a frame where you can take amazing photos and enjoy this view. The college has a union committee and they conduct all the programs. Ethnic fest, union day, Christmas, onam, freshers, halloween are some of the programs held. College has various educational as well artistic clubs as well. This college is one of the best engineering colleges in sports in malabar area.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
