- The Infrastructure of this university is good. Air conditioners in each class, the seats are comfortable, auditoriums for events, playgrounds, gym and sportorium for physical related activities. Infirmary with qualified doctors in case of any health realted emergency. There are security guards everywhere to prevent any mishappening. The cafeteria area is also good and clean and good quality food from various brands like Dominos, La Pinoz Pizaa, Sher-e-Punjab and many more available. Smart boards and white boards in every class . The library is good , all types of books are available and we can issue any book we need
Dislikes
- I didnt find anything thats not upto the marks according to me. I'm satisfied with all the facitlities provided
Remarks :
Chitkara University is well known for engineering programs . I had already heard about this university long time ago Its a popular university in our area that provides good quality education. Even my school friends too are in the same university. For the admission the criteria was that our counselling was done on the basis of our +2 and Jee mains marks. I got 72.8% in 12th standard and 80.8 percentile in Jee mains and i was able to take admission for this particular course
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum according to me is upto the mark. The teachers are too good and intercative . They teach too well both the theory and practical parts and all the doubts are always cleared . Telegram And Whatsapp groups are made for students to interact with teachers. All the notices are provided . The Chalkpad Pro app that is the app of the university where we can find our overall performance . All the attendances, exam marks , notices are found there . In my course there are total 2 types of exams of each subject First one i.e Sessional test conducted 2 times (ST-1 & ST-2) Second is the final exams. The average marks of ST-1 and ST-2 are added to the final CGPA.
Placement Experience :
I've heard that the placements in our campus are too good The criteria is that the student must have atleast 7 CGPA Before placements an exam is taken , the cutoff decides which placement the student can opt for . This university guarantees 100% placement. Also i had some knowns from this university who got good packages
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of the form of Chitkara university was around Rs. 1000 . After the admission was confirmed on the day of counselling we had to pay Rupees 150000 that is the fees of per semester for CSE- Ai . The program fee for 2024 session was 1,30,000 and 20,000 for ETS / CAS fees . The fee structure changes every year depending upon the date and session of admission.
Campus Life :
Talking about social life There are many clubs in this university like Coding Ninjas, IEEE, Dance clubs , singing clubs, Podcast clubs , Happiness Club and many more . The focus is to make students aware of other curriculum activities too to freshen up our mind Regular events too take place like Rangrezz , Freshers , Festivals too are celebrated , comedy shows , Patiala Nights and a lot more thus refreshing our mood. For Cricket Lovers Nowadays there is also Cricket tournament going on where students from different classes participate play together win prizes and enjoy. For entrepeneurs there's a club that helps them in their projects and even provide them with funds whenever possible for the good of students

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
