- Campus Garden which feels you refreshing and awaking when you go and sit inside the garden which is filled with trees.
Dislikes
- Lack of facilities inside the library : The collection of books are very limited inside the library which create problems in finding the reference books
- The library time must be change into till the night as most of the universities following the time schedule of 24hours in a day
Remarks :
I choose Kannur university campus because, while pursuing my post graduate degree, i would also have the time to prepare for other exams. Admission to Kannur university campus requires a separate entrance test, through which approximately 16-18 students are selected under the general category and around 10 students from the reserved category . Additionally, there are different stages of allotment. Selected students must also attend an interview , which is relatively easy one.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose MA History at Kannur University Campus because of the exceptional faculties of the campus. Dr. Malavika Binny , the head of the department, and Dr. Manjula Poyil are the senior most faculty members. Additionally there are two other teachers , Shaheen and Noorunisa. Exams are conducted on time , and the question paper are of a moderate difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities :
Actually i completed the internships with other universities as part of the course and also university provides multi disciplinary course for the practical improvements for the students but there are no paid internships offered by the universities or departments
Placement Experience :
Actually after the completion of the courses you have opportunities in Government sectors like Archaeological Survey of India, Government and private museum curators and operators and almost all the colleges India providing courses of history. So there are huge opportunities in teaching field also.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our MA History course at Mangattuparamba campus is divided into four semesters. The admission process requires a fee of approximately 7000-8000 rupees, along with other registration and hostel related fees of about 500rupees. Once these payments are made , your admission is complete, and you are officially enrolled in the MA History Program. The campus provides hostel facilities for both Male and Female students at an affordable rate of 400rupees per month, which is comparatively lower than most other hostels in India. Additionally there is a mess fee of 2500rupees per month. Students can also avail themselves of various scholarships, such as State Merit Scholarship, Ambedkar Scholarship, and EGrantz. These Scholarships provide financial assistance , with EGrantz offering a full refund of all fees paid for OBC,SC & ST students.
Campus Life :
There are different fests like ADASTRA, ITHIHASA etc which are considered to be the face of the campus which will be hosting in the months February and March. Also there will be university fest which is considered to be one of the strongest competitions in Kerala which is known as Kannur University Kalolsavam. There is a well maintained library is there for Kannur University in different Campuses.
Hostel Facilities :
University hostels provides Homely meals which are provided by kudumbasree units which are very famous in kerala. students should pay 2500rupees per month as mess fee and if you are not taking mess should pay 350 rupees per month as service charge. You can formally apply for the hostels by submitting registration form to the administrative officer and they will allocate into hostels based on the vacancies.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
