- Experienced faculties who were worked as HoDs at different prestigious campuses like Manipal, Chinmaya etc
- well maintained classroom and extra curricular activities like swimming, tennis, badminton, basketball etc
Dislikes
- university fests and programs were quite less compared to other campuses because of the fund issues
- College gym were not allowed to all the students and the students must cover a long distance to reach the nearest gym.
Remarks :
Kannur university were considered to be one of the prestigious universities in Kerala and also as part of the integrated course we are getting the opportunity to complete both our BSc Psychology and MSc Clinical Psychology in the campus without any separate admission tests. Also MSc Clinical Psychology course were rare in Kerala which also increases opportunities for students who were completing this course from university campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually from this year onwards university introduced a new curriculum to departments of the campus that the students who were completed higher secondary school education getting opportunity to study 5 years inside the campus and pass out by completing both Degree and Masters from the campus itself. Exams were completed at proper time and results were announced within one month after the completion of the exam.
Internships Opportunities :
The department provides various opportunities to interact with the top notches in this field and also we can do internships through collaborations with various universities also the university provides the opportunity to transfer into other campuses before the completion of the courses for better experience and you can complete the total course from the next campus without year loss.
Placement Experience :
Actually the campus provides internship opportunities during our masters were we will be working with different hospitals in the branch of psychology in the last two months of your masters which helps the students to improve themselves as psychologists. After the completion of the masters if you excel in the field you will get the opportunity to work with different clinics and hospitals as psychologists.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As part of the course i paid almost 12000rupees in the first semester which includes semester fee of rupees 9895 to the finance officer's account and rupees 1920 to the HoD's account and in the second semester i paid almost 8000rupees as semester fee to the department. University provides various scholarships like SMS(State Merit Scholarship), EGrandz, etc which refunds almost all the semester fee to our account for OBC,SC& ST students.
Campus Life :
campus provides the festivals like Ithihasa, Adastra and different departments fests which increases the vibe of the students inside the campus also we have library facility which is working from 9:00am to 6:00pm except Sundays . Most of the programs were held during the months of February and March
Hostel Facilities :
Kannur university provides tasty meals collaborating with Kudumbasree unit Kannur which create a homely atmosphere inside the hostel. Students must pay 2500rupees per month as mess fee and an additional 400 rupees per month as hostel fee. You should apply for hostel during taking admissions or otherwise the chances of getting admission to hostels are really less.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
