- The main library is in the UG campus which is 800m away from the PG campus
- Even the canteen and the ground are near the UG campus
Remarks :
The college fees is affordable, Psychology department gives you real time knowledge about the field Experienced teachers and staff are the reason I choose this college, Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Psychology The department was established in the year 1999 and The department is a vibrant place with humongous opportunity for holistic development. A notable feature of the department is, free counselling service offered to the needy and hands on experience to the Students through internship at Various Schools, institutions & organisations Department offers certificate courses in School Psychology, Indian Psychology and Basic Yogasana. The department also strives KS inculcate research bent of mind among students by undertaking research projects and encouraging the students to present and publishresearch articles. Eligibilty • 45% marks in optional Psychology at the bachelor's degree (40% for SC/ST/Category-l candidates)
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is relevant to the subject and has components and topics which are necessary for the field, There are NET and K-set qualified teachers to teach and experienced and supportive teachers Lectures are thought by the presenting PPT and explaining it There are 2 internal exam for 35 marks and one semester exam in the end for 70 marks with moderate level difficulty
Internships Opportunities :
They will send email and give letter to the institution where we are willing to work as intern, we have intership in the every semester holidays, so they'll support and encourage to works as intern in various institutions
Placement Experience :
As of now there are placements for psychology student as psychologist, special educator, lecturer in various institutions such as Schools , rehabilitation centre, we'll being centres, colleges and other institutions
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise we have to pay 50000, for each year, total for the whole course it will be 1 lakh, this includes all Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion. There's a scholarship given by SDM institute itself for the 1 year students
Campus Life :
The fests like jenkhar is conducted, and from psychology department symposium and international seminars were conducted, There's projector in every class and there are audio visual rooms as well, As about library Our library is housed in a state of art 11,860 sq.ft building with all modern amenities and facilities having a seating capacity of 400 users. A well stacked collection of 1,10,806 books, 145 journals and periodicals which include rare books, thesis, dissertation, bound volumes of journals, student research projects, American library article collections, book bank books, departmental annual reports and non book materials like E-journals, E-books, and CAL packages, it's open throughout 365 days of years, There are few association run by different departments, PEACE association is run by psychology department.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel has 2,3,4 sharing room, 2 sharing rooms have attached bathroom, rest all have common bathrooms, and they provide a chair, bed, cot, table, table light as well and cupboard and bedsheet, blanket, pillow, plate, and bucket for each student, Mess menu has variety and hygienic food is given. There are few PG and rooms in ujire apart from hostel

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
