- The college is located at City outskirts and hence the climate is very cool and moist which is best for study atmosphere,we have 4 blocks in our college and is very big and the infrastructure is good is since every class has good ventilation and basic equipments,since the faculty are well experienced and have multiple phds,their teaching techniques are easy to understand and visualize
- Coming to the college life,we have certain rules and regulations for our manners and etiquette which makes our college official.we have strict timings and dress code and hence there is no discrimination on the basis of status tk other students,we have many options in our college like canteen,gym,sports room, library,labs etc which make our college an environment fit for any objective to accomplish
Dislikes
- What I dislike about my college is that it has very less number of events held to celebrate and has very strict rules The main thing I dislike is the attendance system where we need to have a minimum of 75 percent attendence by the end of a semester to eligible for semester end exams which is hard to maintain
- Sometimes it is difficult to approach our faculty to clarify our doubts since they are engaged in other activities subjective to management roles and also the timings of our college are strict where we are not allowed if we are late by 10 minutes also,I dislike this aspect since some students come from long distances where time management becomes difficult to attain
Remarks :
The factors responsible for me to join Vignan College were mainly because it was near to my motherland and also it had a good average package placement history. This college was ranked among the top experienced faculty colleges in my locality and hence I was motivated to join this college. One of the main reasons was also because our college had good transport facilities and a dress code which made me feel official to join and prosper. The criteria required for me to join this college was directed through the AP exam where the cutoff was 70/160 marks where I scored 80 in the general category. I got an eamcet rank of 14414 and was allotted with B-category seat in my college. Coming to my preparation for the exam, was very objective where I went through previous papers' questions and also studied the basics of all the topics since the level of criticality of eamcet for questions is less than that of the JEE main exam. The good aspect of our college is the proper dress code but the bad aspect is it is too strict.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen the course of artificial intelligence and data science mainly because it had future dependency factors and also due to increasing technology growth as this course has high job security and value. In this course, I learned many programming languages that include both front end and back end like HTML, CSS, C programming, JAVA, PYTHON, C++, etc. The faculty present in our college have 10-15 years of experience in various subjects & other colleges. Some have completed their PHD also in some courses and hence their teaching methodology is discrete & understandable. They opted for various creative explanation techniques so that visualization and implementation would be easy and worthwhile for me. There are exams every 3 months with weekly tests excluded. Therefore for a semester, we had 2 mid-exam schedules and one semester-end exam. The difficulty level is very low and correction is liberal. some students attained JVD fee reimbursement for the whole course. But the fee is high for others
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for many internships which were some of supported by my college and some of them were opted by me independently. All of my internships were online courses since they included programming languages that require no hardware implementation. The internships that were independently opted for were Skill Vertex and Robocoupler which were paid I took the course of Python programming in Skill Vertex and machine learning in Robocoupler organizations. Coming to the internships that were offered through our college were Simplilearn and Coursera where were learned communication skills offering good accents and vocabulary. I have received certificates for course completion which were added to my resume that are very useful for the job recruitment process. Some companies like steep Plant and Infosys offered paid internships with a stipend of 5000 rs per month where they conducted a coding exam and were given the projects that were selected in the exam that is of machine learning
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities at my college are good when compared to other colleges. The eligibility criteria for placement in our college is not having more than 1 backlog active in all 4 academic years combinedly. Some of the main companies that recruit from my college are ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, AMAZON, TCS, BIRLA, COGNIGENT, DEVREV, PAYPAL etc.The offers made by Accenture are nearly 100 in our college and Amazon recruits nearly 30 from our college with a basic package of 8-10 lakhs per annum. The highest package of our campus is 32 lakhs per annum which was given by PayPal and our average package is 5 lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting placements is nearly 60 percent in our college. My plan after getting my degree is to attain a secure and growth-achieving job that has multiple branches and franchises overseas.
Campus Life :
Our college has less number of events when compared to other colleges in an academic year. One of the main events was VISTA & YUVARARANG which was conducted every year once.VISTA was a good carnival where there were stalls initiated by us and sold to other guests and students who visit on that particular day which is celebrated in August. One of the main events of our college is YUVARARANG where we celebrate this event in January by performing dance, singing songs, dramas, and skits. Every year we invite an eminent personality as our guest to our college for this event. Coming to the library, it is very much useful and the availability of books and journals is surplus and informative. Sports are very much encouraged in my college where we have a basketball court, football ground, volleyball court, etc. I am a day scholar and an active member of the chess club on our campus. Coming to the food quality of our canteen which is open for day scholars also, it has an affordable cost and good food.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
