Remarks :
Because Andhra University is a well named university in the state of Andhra Pradesh. And it has many different courses available to join. Statistics course is available in only three universities in the andhra pradesh. Apart of the three I personally choose this college. Admission process is by wrote the pgcet exam .and also management quota .I joined this college by wrote the pgcet exam and the cutoff marks are 35. I prepared this exam from my degree knowledge. I studied statistics in degree also .so, from that books I prepare for the pgcet exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my love for the statistics. It has different roles are available to pursue the job. Qualification of faculty is they are professors and research scholars. The time for the semester exams are 3-4 months and the course is little bit tough. We have to study statistics in degree also then we understand the depth of subject.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for the department of statistics is 60000 per annum . There is no extra charges or fees from the college .we pay only yearly fee and semister exam fee 1255 per semister.and if we register to any course like NPTEl then we to that course which is related to the semister course.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is beautiful. There are many places and University is full of trees. Recently we celebrated the fest which is organised by SFI. There is a central library in the university which is 20 m distance from my college.there is lot of books available in the library. Recently it celebrated 100 year annual function. There are many sports activities are held in the university anyone in the university are participated. Yeah there is social groups related to placements and we have a-hub also which is used to enhance the ideas of students.
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of the food in the hostel is sometimes good and sometimes bad. The taste of the food is depending on the chef. The menu is good . Registration process is very simple . The hostels are also available as per the seat I got in the pgcet exam . The locality of the hostel is chinna waltair road, vishakapatnam

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.
Placement Experience :
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
