A complete review on TKM
Remarks :
I had to write Keam exam to get admission. Tkm is the 3rd best college in Kerala. For my rank of 1933 with 97 percentile, ece in Tkm was my best option. College is great and students are nice. Campus is very small with only 25 acres. We had to take admission by physically going to college. Hostel is fine but food is bad. Cultural activities are great but teaching is not good. Dress code is lenient. Overall, college is good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because electronics is a blooming sector and job opportunities are higher. There are great teachers and inspiring members in the faculty but most of them don't know how to teach. Some teachers are really good. Some teachers are very strict and act like its a school. Term exams were a bit late but there is atleast one exam every 2 months. There are 2 series exams and one semester exam per semester. Difficulty level depends on the subject. Most subject exams were easy barring or two.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for intership in Bangalore. There are internships for students from every year. Internships are important for activity points. There are 1-3 month internships available. Internships are both paid and free.
Placement Experience :
Placement criteria is cgpa above 7.5 and no existing back papers. A lot of recruiters from different sectors come to the college. Highest package was 35 lpa and average is 5 lpa. Placement percentage is high. I plan on going for placement job after degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee is 9650 per semester for electronics and communication engineering branch. This is the fees for general students on merit. Students with reservation have less fees. Management quota students have more fees. Economically weaker section also have less fees. Other than that, you have to buy lab uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, equipments and records yourself every semester. All this is not included in the fees. Hostel fees is close to 6000 per month.
Campus Life :
The main fest is named Hestia and it is celebrated in the month of April. Library is vast and has every book needed for the curriculum. Classrooms are spacious and most of them have smart boards. Sports are frequent and there is cricket nets, football ground, basketball ground, squash court, tennis court, badminton court, free gym and paid swimming pool. Extracurricular activities are of quality and occur atleast once every week. Sports and extracurricular activities are of great importance to the college. There are lots of clubs and every club is handled by students. For example, IEEE, ISTE, IAE, TinkerHub, dance club, music club, maths club,etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are great. Food is nasty. A lot of people have gotten sick including myself. Breakfast Menu consists of Kerala breakfasts like dosa, idli, puttu, uppumavu and bread. Lunch menu has kerala rice and different curries. Vegetarian 3 days of the week. Dinner is vegetarian 4 days of the week. Hostel fees is very high and close to 6000 per month. Registration fees was 30k and you can register during admission process. There is a 7 pm curfew for first years. For seniors, it is 10 pm.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
