- The campus infrastructure is very good. They have all features needed for a university. Their seminar hall has state of the art facilities and have love recording facility also. There are many seminar halls so theres lavish space for students to get any workshops done. There are several projectors in each seminar halls.
- Their sports area and gym facility are commendable. They offered various equipments and training accessories for students who are interested in utilizing the gym facility. The university also provides various sports equipments for students to practice. Many sports events are also conducted regularly. They give importance for athletes and university players.
Dislikes
- Their restroom facility is not upto the mark. More hygiene must be maintained in the restrooms. Their bathrooms are very old and broken sometimes in few blocks. Few blocks do not have restrooms hence the students need to climb lots of stairs to reach the nearest restroom.
- There is no car parking available for students. We had to park our cars outside the university premises. Hence this was one of the inconvenience for the students. Only staffs has in premise car parking.
Remarks :
I had an entrance examination for the course and later had a interview with the department faculty. The interview was a tedious process. We also had the cut off marks checked from our 12th board exam marks. The seats were very limited and was difficult to get it at first but later we were able to get the course as needed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured for food science and nutrition department. The college offers various value added courses and Co curricular courses to enhance our skills each semester. We had language paper for 4 semesters. I opted for French and English. We were encouraged to write Delf A1 french exam too. The academics were very competitive and tedious. The faculty were well versed in their subject and had practical knowledge. The faculty was quite helpful but sometimes we felt uncomfortable with how they treated students differently depending on how students behaved. The overall academical scope and curriculum was very well done. We had many hands on workshops organised by the department for us to have a practical knowledge on few subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
We have a internship program in between the second year. We were asked to do our internship at a hospital. We did it at PSG Hospitals and were a period of 15 days. There was no stipend given for it.
Placement Experience :
There is a campus placement center. The placement centre brings many good companies to the campus. The eligibility is for students who got 70% in their semester. The few recruiters who visited are wipro, Infosys, Sutherland. There were around 30 offers made. The highest package given was 9 lpa and the average was 3 lpa for the junior level profiles. The percentage of students after placement was around 40%. I planned to do my masters degree hence did not opt for any placement drive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first semester fees was 27000 and later all the 5 semesters had fees around 11,000. We had lab fees extra as 600rs per se.ester depending on how many labs the course offers. There were no other fees posed on us.
Campus Life :
The main fest of the College is Kalai Vizha in month of September and Avegha Intercollegiate in month of March. These are the big events that take place in the college. We have a large library with number of books for all the subjects and it's e resources are also available in university website. The library is well air conditioned and well maintained. There is a very known sports team in the university and they give high importance for sports and there is a intramural tournament that happens every year with the departments. There are various clubs in the college. Rotaract club, Eco club, sports club, YUVA club, antique club. They also have NSS, NCC as a part of the curriculum. The overall social life in the university is good. But they must allow more colleges to participate in events conducted by the university.
Hostel Facilities :
I did not apply for the hostel. I was a dayscholar. The hostel mess provided vegetarian food for the students. They need to apply through the college website. The hostel is very affordable but need to be well maintained. There are many rentals and PG rooms near the university in Saibaba colony and gandhipuram. The university hostel is inside the premises and has many rooms.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
