Applicants must follow the selection route assigned to their chosen course. Engineering seats primarily use TNEA, allied health courses consider NEET UG, and most arts, science, and commerce UG programmes prepare merit lists from Class 12 marks. Some PG and doctoral courses require an entrance examination and further selection stages.
Tamil Nadu applicants first need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and at least 45% aggregate marks. Anna University prepares TNEA rank lists and uses them to allot seats. Applicants from other states may use the university's separate merit route, with JEE Main scores considered where applicable.
Admission to allied health science courses is based on NEET UG performance. BASLP, which covers Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, and BPT, which covers Physiotherapy, are 4-year full-time programmes. These two courses require 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and at least 50% marks. B.Sc Physician Assistant applicants also need NEET and Biology in Class 12.
Students apply directly to the university for BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, and BCA. No separate entrance test is used, as selection depends on Class 12 marks. Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Psychology receive greater demand and therefore close at higher Class 12 scores in the merit list.
For PG courses, selection uses the university entrance examination or TANCET scores for applicable programmes. MBA candidates complete an entrance test, group discussion, and personal interview. Each department conducts Ph.D admission twice a year through a written test and interview. Doctoral candidates qualified in UGC-NET/JRF or GATE receive fellowship support during the programme.
The placement cell coordinates campus hiring for graduates in engineering, technology, management, and other disciplines. So many girls are getting campus recruitment in the third semester of PG itself in well reputed companies. After my PG I started working in a government college as guest lecturer and now I am a kerala government employee
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is well structured for food science and nutrition department. The college offers various value added courses and Co curricular courses to enhance our skills each semester. We had language paper for 4 semesters. I opted for French and English. We were encouraged to write Delf A1 french exam too. The academics were very competitive and tedious. The faculty were well versed in their subject and had practical knowledge. The faculty was quite helpful but sometimes we felt uncomfortable with how they treated students differently depending on how students behaved. The overall academical scope and curriculum was very well done. We had many hands on workshops organised by the department for us to have a practical knowledge on few subjects.
There is a campus placement center. The placement centre brings many good companies to the campus. The eligibility is for students who got 70% in their semester. The few recruiters who visited are wipro, Infosys, Sutherland. There were around 30 offers made. The highest package given was 9 lpa and the average was 3 lpa for the junior level profiles. The percentage of students after placement was around 40%. I planned to do my masters degree hence did not opt for any placement drive.
Read Full ReviewI have chosen this course because i didn't got general B.com. Most of the faculty have done PH. D and some of them are pursuing PH. D and also working as teaching assistant.i dont know about other departments. but in my department, they don't even use projector to teach. my class tutor is taking accounting subject. she doesn't even use class board to teach accounts. some professors don't have knowledge in subject, but they pretend. and some of them teaches very good. they conduct 2 internal assessments before semester they conduct internal assessment for 60 marks the time duration is 2 hours. they conduct internals after every 2 month of semester year starts. In semester they conduct exam for 100 marks which is 10 one words for 10 marks. 5 questions for 6 marks and 5 paragraph questions for 12 marks. Time duration is 3 hours. exam difficulty is moderate because 3 hours is not enough to complete 100 marks examination. we have to attend all questions within 3 hours.
placement policy is worst in this college. once you have placed in one company you cannot attend upcoming company. very less companies visit college. often recruiters are kgisl, rnd softech, tcs etc.. their plan is to make students to get placed. so percentage of students getting placed is around 60%. but very less companies visit to college. you cannot expect a big four , mnc or reputed companies here. i got placed for 2lpa. but after that some companies offering good packages came. but the placement officer didnt allow me to attend further company because she made a deal with a company which i got placed that she provides 100%conversion rate to that respective company. my plans is to get a good job. if you want to get placed in a good company and looking for good and many opportunities please dont join this college. if you have idea of doing post graduation this college is fine due to its affordability.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because English has been my favourite subject, since school. The faculty members were very well qualified and their teaching method was quite awesome. There were government-based scholarships for students.
Students with the highest percentage in the semester exams were given top priority for placements. Other students who are interested in joining are also appreciated. 10 schools recruited and the no. Of offers were pretty much.

Read Full ReviewThe curriculum was quite easy and knowledgeable. The staff members are so friendly and help us in both academic and cultural sides. Our college has a lot and lot of scholarship options available like everyone will get some amount from the scholarship. We have 2 internal exams 2 seminars and 2 assignments every semester which help us to understand the subject even better. And the fees here is very very low compared to any other institutions
There are over 50 companies who come for campus interviews. And every year a lot of students are getting placed. Even I got selected in one. While studying the institution provides us internship after completing every year. Which is very useful for us to know and learn what is exactly happening in the field we are learning. We went to internship at the Chennai silk's own weaving unit and it helps us to learn a lot. Most of my friends are placed in the campus interviews and working till now.
