Rathinavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science started as the first self-financing or private college under Bharathiar University. RVS College of Arts and Science was established in 1986. The college is located at Sulur, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. RVSCAS is approved by AICTE and was accorded autonomous status in 2004 by UGC and re-accredited in 2014 with an 'A' Grade. RVSCAS is the fourth-best college in Coimbatore and the first college with a maximum strength of foreign students among the colleges under the domain of Bharathiar University.

  • Solid Waste Management: An incinerator is run to ensure that the solid and biological waste gets disposed of without any threat to the environment.
  • Reverse Osmosis Plant: Reverse Osmosis plants were established and Purified water is supplied round the clock.
  • Fire Extinguisher: The College also has installed fire extinguishers at different places in case of any emergency.
