Trip to ATME Mysuru
Dislikes
- The Clg is located 12 kms away from the City which makes it difficult to commute. Lot of students struggle with bus timings and crowd
- Fees deadlines are very strict. They put penalties like 100per day till you pay the due amount.
Remarks :
I visited Mysore in search of Clgs the first clgs I went were JC, NIE and Vidya Vardhka. These clgs offered the course of AIML but there fees structure was very high for me. It was around 12-15l in total. Later a relative of mine suggested me about ATME clg. We visited there and great thing was they weren't charging any donation just the Tuition fees so I joined immediately.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main reason behind choosing the branch of Data science is I wanted to join a industry which I knew whose scope is never coming down.Everyone knows how important data is now a days. ATME is affiliated with VTU and VTU has well designed curriculum. As my department was new (data science) the faculties were also hired fresh for the department. Around 4 faculties were working in NIE clg before coming here. We had two HODs in this 4 years. Our first HOD Dr. JV Gorbal was really a great person, he was encouraging, enthusiastic and a great teacher. He had a bit of clash between the management over not giving him complete power over the department and he resigned from the post of HOD. The current HOD is Dr. Anitha, also a good teacher bit strict but manageable. Faculties are good and humble
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted internship with TIE Banglore for 15 weeks. Clg is also providing internshipin collaboration with the Rooman Technology As it is in clg itself I didn't think I'd get much exposure to the real world so I opted for internship with TIE (Take it Easy Engineeers)
Placement Experience :
Till now I have seen just 4-5 companies come to clg. We are sent to pool drives to other clgs like NIE and Vidyavardhaka. In my class around 10 members have been placed with average ctc of 4lpa . I can day the placements been better than last year but still it's not enough
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I joined my fees structure was decided to be 1.25l per year and 5 lakh in total . But in the second year they increased my fees by adding extra 11k and I payed 1.36l for 2nd, 3rd and final year. Some of my friends who joined late also paid 1.75l/year and some even paid 2l.
Campus Life :
ATME is well known for its campus. It is vast and beautiful filled with greenery and good buildings. Talking about fests in the over the years they had invited artists like Vijay Prakash ,Sanjeeth Hegde, Raghu Dixit, Rahul Ditto and Bijju for concert and DJ nights are common in every fests. Clubs are not that active, there was clg band but now ther isn't one. Sports is encouraged, they even hosted a state level basketball tournament in clg. Clg softball team members were selected to represent University team in National levels Library is filled with guides, text books, journals and reports, Multiple systems to access online resources too Every classroom has projectors and screens and good ventilation.
Hostel Facilities :
No I was not in the Clg hostel but as far as I know the good was okay . The hostel before was 10km away from the campus. Because the hostel building was under construction. Last year the hostel was shifted within campus itself.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
