- Yes I like my college infrastructure as it was built by Nizams in old days they have great infrastructure.
- The faculty at college is good as they are graduated from IIT'S and possess great knowledge.
Dislikes
- The equipments in the laboratory are not working properly and need to be renewed as they have been using for long time.
Remarks :
Yes, I had written an entrance exam called ECET as I am a diploma student. And inter students have the entrance exam called EAMCET. In ECET we need to get rank between 1 to 10 to get seat in top colleges like Osmania.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is so good and it is easily understandable by everyone. The course curriculum include the both theoritical and practical courses that give overall knowledge of present environment. The faculty of OU are so experienced. Most of them are graduated from IIT's so they possess great knowledge and teach well in all aspects.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes internship opportunities are provided in our college in good companies like coschool, artiq, etc based on the aptitude and interview rounds.The minimum stipend is 15,000 and max is 30,000. Based on performance in the internship they give job opportunities.
Placement Experience :
I job opportunities and placements in the OU is better. In the final year of BE we get opportunities for placements and internships in the various good companies like Google, Capgemini, cognizant, oracle, L&T etc. As per 2024 the highest package is 59.9 lakhs per annum and average package is 4 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is 35000 per year and the exam fee per year is 4,400. Total fee per year is 39,400.From 2023 the fee is increased to 50,000. This tuition fee is paid by government for the students who got seat in the college and other fee like hostel and exam fees should be paid by us.
Campus Life :
The university fosters a dynamic social environment, encouraging students to participate in various cultural and technical events. We have clubs like IEEE club to encourage students to organise events,workshops,and contests. Infrastructure of OU is fabulous as it is one of the oldest universities in India it give vintage vibes.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I opted for hostel as I am from rural area. The hostel mess fee is 27600 per year that is 2300 per year.The food at OU hostel is good daily we have different diet with different tiffins and curries. Every day we have boiled egg, Weekly twice chicken and monthly once mutton or fish. The infrastructure of hostel is good. We need to apply for hostel in the hostel section of office room which is in the main building. They check all our details that is the distance of college form home and caste to give admission, if confirmed they give mess number to join.

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
