- Honestly the worst 4 years of my life. The faculty in my department act like they can do anything to the kids without any consequences. They harassed me and my friend for 3 years straight over the dumbest things. One lady faculty even failed me in lab exams just because we missed her lab once. They discriminate based on if your a locality or from other states. They won’t explain the subjects in different language and emphasis on speaking in Kannada only. Crowd is not that great either. Infrastructure is very mediocre. Very old buildings and this campus gives forest vibes as there are only trees here
- If you are looking for good infrastructure and placement this is not the place. Trust me
Remarks :
I thought this college had a name so would look great when looking out for jobs. I didn’t give any test as it was a management seat. Honestly I gave CET but didn’t get that great of a rank and opted for management seat, not a lot of criteria for that and if you wait a little towards the end you would get management seat for lesser price.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Honestly the worst college you could go to. Horrible faculty and crowd. One of my worst experiences. The faculty are so unprofessional and bully kids on a regular. Lot of discrimination towards kids who can’t speak Kannada and come from other states.
Internships Opportunities :
I did one mandatory internship during my final year and one after graduation from an early stage start ups. I did my internships in ML domain as I was interested in that. It was an unpaid internship for 2 months but that helped me land my current job. I work in an MNC with a 4.5 CTC
Placement Experience :
Our placement is a scam it doesn’t allow kids to sit for every company as they have some cut offs. I remember I wasn’t allowed to sit coz I had one backlog but I got placed by myself off campus in an mnc with one backlog. More than half my class is not placed and they are saying it’s because of recession. The highest package in my college was 12LPA by ANZ and even she got laid off within 4 months
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got a 1 lakh per year management seat and I have to pay additional 22,000 as VTU fees every. If you wait a bit longer management seat go for lesser as to 60000 per per year. My friend and me are both in management but she joined after 10 days of college starting and got it for less as they also need to fill up seats. In my department the highest paying fee structure was 150000 (management seat)
Campus Life :
People from CSE, ISE and AIML ARE NICE. Don’t ever think of joining this college if you are trying for electronics. Coming to fest and clubs. This college has occasional fest but a lot of clubs. Infrastructure is so outdated feels like a forest or cubbon park
Hostel Facilities :
I didn’t not opt for hostel. But hostel fees is around 1-2L per year based on which block you use choose. 3 different blocks and NRIs have a different block for themselves. Food is mediocre and cleanliness is okay ig according to my friends who opted for this

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
