Likes
- Faculty is highly experienced, many are Pdh holders
- The library of GCCBA is amazing. It has all the essential books.
Dislikes
- The campus life is not such enjoyable. There are very few activities.
Remarks :
The major factor was experienced faculty. There’s no group discussion or interview as such. Admissions are done solely on the basis of 12th score. Students who’ve done their schooling from Chandigarh get preference in admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is well structured, from basic to advance. Faculty is highly experienced and many teachers are Phd holders. Teaching method is great, digital platforms are also used. At the end of each semester are end term exams. The level is easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn’t opt for any internship during the course. Rather I opted doing courses through coursera and Udemy. But I would definitely recommend that students should do some sort of internship during the course.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not that good. Only 20% of the students get placed. A few of the prominent recruiters are IndusInd bank, Edurev, bulls eye. Highest package is 6lpa and average is 4lpa. I got a placement in IndusInd bank after the degree through college placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course has 6 semesters and the fee is paid at the beginning of each semester. It’s around 10000-12000 per semester. For SC, ST, OBC, fee amount varies. They get free books, writing material in addition to scholarship.
Campus Life :
Library is great. There are a lot of clubs and societies such as Red ribbon club, NSS, Avni, etc. Campus is small, extracurricular activities are limited. Youth fest is the major fest, which is enjoyed by all

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
