- The infrastructure of this college is small but pretty decent. This college has a gym, spacious canteen the faculty of this college is highly educated and very supportive. Experienced Faculty: Many professors are highly qualified, with PhDs and industry experience. Supportive Staff: Approachable and helpful in clarifying doubts. Curriculum: Follows Panjab University’s syllabus, covering essential commerce and business topics.
- GCCBA has a decent infrastructure, though it may not be as modern as some private colleges.Classrooms: Basic but functional, with benches and projectors in some rooms. Library: A well-stocked library with commerce-related books, journals, and a reading room. Computer Labs: Adequate for basic coursework but not highly advanced. Sports & Recreation: Limited sports facilities (indoor games like chess and table tennis are available). Cafeteria: Small canteen serving affordable snacks and meals.
Dislikes
- Limited Industry Exposure: Few guest lectures or corporate tie-ups compared to private B-schools. Teaching Methods: Mostly traditional (lecture-based); could benefit from more case studies and practical learning. Verdict: Good for theoretical knowledge, but students must seek internships and workshops externally.

Remarks :
Due to less students it becomes easy to communicate with teachers and this college is only meant for studies so that why I chose itSocieties & Clubs: Commerce society, debate club, and cultural committees organize events. Fests & Events: Annual fest (usually in February/March) with competitions, performances, and guest speakers. Placements: Limited campus placements—mostly local firms and banks. Students often pursue CA, MBA, or government jobs
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I wanted to learn something under the computer applications course and that why this college becomes a good opportunity for me Mostly teachers have done their masters and have atleast 5 years of experience In case of difficulty level it is moderate level as I every subject one have to study it depends upon the student how he is studying it
Placement Experience :
My plans after getting degree is to compete for mca degree because jobs after getting bca is little less these years than past years so one must complete mca for job securation.as per our college yes companies came in past years and student secured jobs but lpa not more than 5 lakhs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first sem you have to pay more as it contains admission fees for year starting and little less in second semester As compared to castes one their fees are little less as compared to our Because this is not a government aided course so yes everyone pays more fees than any other courses
Campus Life :
Parwez is done in form of fest here but mostly very less competition are conducted in this college Books are available according to the course of the student Sports tournament are also taken out here and also in Punjab University There are different groups according to student choice

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
