The faculty are decent. Nothing to stand out with the way they treat the students. it's usually the classroom interactions and that's the extent that most of the teachers and professors will bother about you and your course. The curriculum is nice. There is not a lot of pressure in terms of academics but there are frequent internal exams. For me the application and admission process was very streamlined where I had to email my marksheet and the certificates and on the basis of that I got the seat and I finalized it through payment No external exams and interviews
CSE is the thing of today. so it was like a no brainer. Plus it seemed like the only good option to pursue because of my interest in both mathematics and computers. The faculty as I said in my previous answer are qualified and experienced and know about their stuff. Almost all of then have the necessary qualifications to teach undergrad students and their teaching methods even though it could be vastly different depending on the teacher, generally was a mixture of both class and copy method and some presentation and experiment sessions There are 3 exams in a semester 2 internals that make up 50 marks total and another 50 marks from the final semester end papers they're not that difficult and the questions are usually the ones discussed or atleast mentioned in the class
I haven't opted for any internship but the bicep and internship department has provided alot of opportunities for many of my friends with the help of several hackathons and other project based learning courses
I haven't yet been in touch with the placement department and i also do not have any idea related to it as I'm thinking of studying abroad but from what I've heard through my friends. The placement cell is decent and they help students in every semesters first in the lower semester through certification courses for free and later on with placement courses which I think have become a part of the lower semester too
The base tuition fees is around 225000 with everything and the rest is for hostel facility and there are scholarships available for students who are academically strong and even those who belong to poor economic background. I do not know the exact amount but it starts from somewhere around 15k. My quota of admission has to lowest fees but for students coming from management quotas and others the fees are very high around 4 to 6 lakhs per year
There's a main College fest conducted every even semester so that's somewhere between March and July there's hostel fest for the hostel students and pg students and there's fest from each departments too Library seems stacked with all the necessary curriculum books and the extra reference books you may need and the system for these books is also not that very complicated too so that's a plus. Each class has 2 projectors and blackboard with ample student sitting area and benches so that's no concern The sports options are quite limited. like it's not as if there's no sport related stuff but the main ground at a time can only either accommodate the cricket group or the football group and the condition of the ground is also not that good. you have basketball volleyball and badminton courrts too. Clubs are a huge thing in the campus and there are a lot of them and you can get yourself involved in a lot of them
Hostel is one of the redeeming factors here. The boys hostel block c is a very good living space with each room having an attached bathroom each floor with a washing machine and the mess also being decent. you get a mix of both south and north cuisine and the food other than some specific days is generally nice The registration process for the hostel is also simple for the students from pic quota. you can just apply and the hostel authorities make it alot simple for you by helping you though all the step
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
