I chose this college because of its placements and its not too far away from my home. There is a entrance exam but its not compulsory , if you want good amount of scholarship then you can write the exam. The good aspect is that the college will prepare you for future and will provide many opportunities to prove your talents. You can gain so much knowledge and skills . While coming to bad aspect is high fee structure and the workload is overwhelming. The admission process is quite easy . They conduct a entrance exam called VSAT through which we can get admission in the college with high chances of scholarship. One can also directly get admission into the college through JEE mains or the local state level exam. The cut off is reachable and the exam is online based so getting good score is not that hard. I actually prepared for state level exam along with my 12th exams because almost all the topics are covered itself in inter only.
I choose computer science because I kind of love coding, app building . The faculty here are highly qualified holding good phds . They are quite good in their respective fields. The teaching method is good as they teach through online resources. The term exams are scheduled twice in a semester and one final exam is held. Additionally we have reviews , online based multiple choice questions , presentations , assignments .The difficulty level range from moderate to hard.
I have not opted any internship yet but many seniors have interned in companies like Tata Motors , HCL ,TCS etc. They offer roles like junior software engineer , web development intern , data analysts , application developer, game developer etc. There are many projects students did.
You are eligible for placements from 3rd year second semester. Huge companies like Amazon , Flipkart , Infosys , TCS , Wipro , Accenture etc. offering roles like software engineer, data analyst , web developer etc. The highest package offered is 44LPA by Amazon offering software engineer role and the average package offered is 6LPA . Almost 85 % of students get placed in various companies . Remaining 15% either choose to study abroad or dropouts or planning for startups. I actually want to purse higher studies in abroad but due to my financial condition i have to work. So I'm planning to work for 2-3 years and then go abroad to purse my higher studies. I don't know if its gonna happen or not but lets hope for the best.
The total fee to pay per year is 2,60,000 actually but I have a scholarship of 30% so i pay near about 1.8 LPA . During admission to book our seat we have to pay 20,000 in advance and we also have to pay CDA fee of 5000 every year and Exam fee 2000. There is no reservations for SC,ST,OBC etc. Actually one of my friend pay 2lpa annum because she has 10 - 15% scholarship and my another friend have 50% scholarship so he/she approximately pay 1 - 1.5 LPA . There are few scholarships available like merit cum need, other state ,recommendations etc. I secured merit-cum need scholarship.
Our biggest fest is Mohostav which is held on february every year. It lasts for 3 days and have all type of entertainments like sports, culturals etc. There are huge number of books available in library. All types for all courses even some journals of famous people . Our classroom are well equipped with air conditioners, smart boards, 24 /7 high speed wifi connection etc. Our college encourage sports and extracurriculars a lot . They even take students to other colleges to perform / participate. The college itself conduct a great sports fest in november . Our huge student body is SAC which contain all types of vertices like logistics , theatre arts, dance, music ,stage and management etc. We have a official website run by students.
Yes i have opted an inside campus hostel. The quality of the food is average and can be improved . The menu is quite common and regular due to which we get bored. The registration process is easy, you just have to pay 5000 to book your room in hostel. It is not affordable for price- sensitive families. You can rent room or pg in a town near the campus. The prices are reasonable and the rooms are average.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
