A Worthwhile Experience
Likes
- I like academic blocks like NAC( New Academic Complex), CRC ( class room complex) where our classes happen and laps and workshops in Specified department blocks. I love the nature here, trees, deers, fountains at the centre of campus, main gate of the campus is full of greenary.
- I like the library too where we have our own personal space and study. We have every book available here in our library. And we have temples here too which provide a cozy atmosphere.
Dislikes
- We have buses available in our campus as it is a very big campus. The bus arrival timings cause a lot of problem because of too much delay by the drivers. They take up more rest time than they are given for the shift and end up making people reach classes lately. We have buses available in our campus. - Lot of departments don't have drinking water dispensers, if they do have them, mostly they are not cleaned regularly which makes us walk for more distance to get water and monkeys make a lot of fuss here
Remarks :
I chose this college as it's ranked nirf 1. And it is near to my place. Although, the preffered branch is my favourite subject to learn. I have written two exams, jee mains and JEE Advanced exams and I got admission through JOSAA counciling. I prepared through Akaash Academy and took JEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering as it's my favourite subject from my 10th grade. Faculty will teach friendly and we have hands on sessions and labs. They are student friendly. They give us reference books which we pick from library or share the slides.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I got an internship in Kapiva Company, Banglore. My role is Node JS. Many companies like momentive, amazon, microsoft, myntra, FedEx, Accenture companies come to our college with average stipend of 70000. And there are companies like momentive, Kapiva, Frost & Sullivan give 35000-40000 stipend. Many projects include data structures and algorithms, Machine Learning and. Data science projects. Getting internship is tough than getting a placement.
Placement Experience :
We have a placement cell run by students. And before placements, almost every student undergoes internship cell too. I got an internship in Kapiva Company, banglore. Almost 130-150 companies come to our campus to give offers. 300-350 people get placed in one or other company. Next placement session starts in August 2025. Now 2024 placements are going on in our campus. Highest package is 4.3cr by Japanese Company. And average package is 22lpa. My plans after getting degree is to plan for higher studies in foreign.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have seperate tution and hostel fees. Tution fees per year is 200000 and hostel fees per year is 66700. It varies for each student regarding their quota. And also it depends on annual income of their family. If it's <100000, fees is 22700 per year. And for SC and ST, it is 14700 per year. And hostel fees is same for everyone.similarly, We have scholarship here based on the quota and annual income of their family. Some of the scholarships are alumini Scholarship, NSP scholarship.
Campus Life :
We have Saarang, cultural fest and Shaastra, technical fest which I'm part of. I'm Finance vertical Head in Shaastra. We have a big library here in our campus where we have alot of books available and comics and story books too and it is the best place to study where we can have peace of mind. We have many sports also available indoor and outdoor and we go to inter IIT competitions. Everything here is run by students where we have officials support. We have many clubs called CFI where government projects were also going on and some other projects and compete in international levels.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have opted for a hostel here named Sharavati. We have messes available here in campus provided with north and south dishes with veg and non veg seperately. I have applied for hostel through portal called ikollege which was provided to us at the start of the academic year. Hostels will be clean and hygeine and we have playgrounds available in the hostel itself. We have kitchen room. And we have a wending Machine too.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
