I had preferred a government college but due to lack of availability of seat for computer science in government colleges I couldn't get into one the only option left was semi Government College and amongst semi Government College this was much better.
The teaching faculty is definitely experienced and PhD holders but are curriculum was outdated for sure but the recent changes in the curriculum help us students a lot as preference is being given to placements and internships so he was student wants to pursue internship they can take a leave in their final year.
Internships are relatively low but they are usually updated in the college placement group if any new internships are provided to the campus during the final year some companies provide you with internship and there after a permanent roll in their company
Placements usually start during the fourth year according to me one must have enough skills by the beginning of the fourth year so that they could easily crack the placements, companies like Infosys tech Mahindra usually visit the campus
Yearly fees is 35000 with nearly 7000 additional fees that include PTA , Sport fees and all, the fees is fixed it is has not increased since it is a Semi-Government College, Various Scholarship are updated in the college official group.
Comparing to government colleges activities are relatively less but they are there for sure clubs like IEDC and IEEE are usually very active and their campus, Lumiere is the national level fest conducted by the college once in every 2 years.
The college provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls the ladies hostel is inside the campus with a bit disappointing food on the other hand mens have different PGs that are located near to the college with a decent food and accommodation
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
