- The campus is veryyy beautiful. Its literally heaven. But hostel restrictions are a bit harsh atleast for first year. Food is worst. Infrastructure is quite good. Campus life is good until you have good relations with Malayali people.
- The main good thing is that studies are very good in the college. Faculty are top notch and very helping.
Dislikes
- Mess food. Its the absolute worst. This mess food is unbearable.
- Malayali people can sometimes be very unfriendly and unpleasant. They often are involved in mischiefs but left easily.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it has a good NIRF ranking among other accreditations like from the NBA,NAAC etc. To add to that the college has good faculty and facilities for every stream available. Through JEE MAINS cutoff for CSE(AI) is 98%ile for slab 1, 95%ile for slab2 and clearing cutoff for slab3. Through AEEE we can get amritapuri campus for CSE(AI) in all India cutoff near about 2000, slab 2 for 4500-5000 and slab 3 till 8000.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of the course looked excellent. When compared with other private colleges Amrita has a way better curriculum when it comes to the technical side. They help in fostering our skills from the first year itself. For a freshman who doesnt know much coding its the perfect choice for a college. The faculty are also very supportive. The internal exams are pretty much of moderate level. But end sems are a bit harder. When it comes to grading you need to do a lot of hardwork to get 9CGPA.
Internships Opportunities :
Im still in first year. Internship opportunities are available for everyone. But they demand a good level of skill. So from second year it can be got properly. There are people who do 3-4 internships as well until they land the job.
Placement Experience :
According to the seniors almost 90percent of the people in Computing department got placed with an average CGPA OF 10lpa. Some of the people have also got good opportunities for MS abroad. The coding culture in the college always help in the placements. Highest package so far in this campus is 56.5LPA in PALOALTO technologies. I hope to get a good placement as well.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am paying around 275000/- INR as tuition fee to the college. Along with that for hostel accommodation including mess fee I'm paying around another 75000/- INR. Caution fee ranges around 10000-15000/- INR. The college has different scholarship slabs based on result through AEEE and JEE MAINS. THE TUITION FEE STRUCTURE IS AS SLAB1- FOR COMPUTING DEPARTMENT 150000/- INR SLAB 2- FOR COMPUTING DEPARTMENT 275000/- INR SLAB3 - FOR COMPUTING DEPARTMENT 400000/- INR NON SCHOLARSHIP MANAGEMENT QUOTA 600000/- INR There are state based reservations along with caste based reservation for students.
Campus Life :
The college comprises of renowned technical clubs like amFOSS, bi0s, ACM Student chapter among others. These clubs are the primary coding clubs. Other than that there are robotic clubs, environmental conservation clubs as well. Every club is doing very well in their domain. The seniors and mentors here are perfect for any enthusiastic learners. Also AYUDH is a student run club completely which performs a lot of social services across south india Vidyut is the fest but its not so regularly conducted. Though they have scheduled vidyut 2025 for 23-25th may. Sports facilities are basically useless except badminton courts. You would hardly get a chance to play football because of classes. Also the coaches demand you to come everyday to play for college team. Library is very big having a lot of variety of books.
Hostel Facilities :
The food is literally the worst you can taste. They rarely change the menu. On special occasions except Onam you dont get special food. Hostel rooms are okay when compared to other colleges but not as high standards. Hostel is easily available but for first years you will have to stay in the ashram. Living in Ashram is not so good as it had a lot of restrictions.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
