- The infrastructure, the clubs, and the advisors we have forgotten support
- the fest which is vidyut that happens once in 1 or 2 years and friends
Dislikes
- The girls are not allowed to go out after 5:30 pm in the evening. This creates less interest on other activities like sports or exploring the selves for students
- The food is pretty bad . Even in special occasions there is no special food.
Remarks :
I have written a test . I wrote AEEE entrance exam and got around 3k rank. So I got a slab 2 in computer science and engineering B.Tech degree. This university has 7th rank in nirf ranking in all private universities. A very good club culture as students from these clubs go abroad and won many hackathons and coding competitions. They have very disciplined students as their rules very strict. Good placements and technology and continuously developing curriculum.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is updated every now and then according to the new trend. Most of the teachers have very nice experience and they are very keen about solving student's doubts. Students are encouraged to ask their doubts no matter how big or small they are. But there are some teachers who are very fast paced and doesn't really care about whether students amare listening or understanding what they are teaching or not. The exams are pretty difficult for students. We have a midterm after 2 and half month form the beginning of the sem.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am a first year student, I didn't take any internship at all right now but we can get internships when we reach the the third year which is sem 5 and sem 6. People already get trained about building resumes, placements and more and also for the interviews.
Placement Experience :
This campus or this university has very good reputation when it comes to placements. It usually has an average package of 10-12 lakhs, and highest package is around 40-45 lakhs. Every year many big companies like Google microsoft and many more visit the campus to recruit students and in high number. Every year around 80 percent of students get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Actually there is an entrance exam for people to get into Amrita. It is called AEEE. It is written so that students Can get scholarships on their fee. Without any scholarship the fee per year in in the computing courses is 6,00,000 per year. This is only tuition fee. But after writing an exam you will get 3 different slabs as scholarships. Slab1- 1,50,000, slab2-2,75,000 and slab3-4,00,000 as tuition fee. Overall administration fee , hostel fee etc; will be around 3,75,000.
Campus Life :
Infrastructure resembles kerala and its architecture. The buliding looks soo good the classrooms are fine but they aren't air-conditioned. The weather here s so hot and we are supposed to move for almost every class in the huge building which will be difficult in the beginning but we will get used to it.library is very convenient as it has so many books and journals which we can borrow. Sports are encouraged but mostly girl students don't participate much as they are restricted to the hostel after 5:30 PM. Clubs are such a great thing here.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for a hostel because I doesn't belong to kerala. I am a residential of Andhra Pradesh. I am from nellore. So I came this far to study in this college and hence I have opted for the hostel. There are many hostels and it has a compound wall for all the hostels combined. This is for girls. The boys hostels are away from the campus and on the other side of the bridge. The mess looks fine but the food is pretty bad. It sucks. They don't have any varieties but same food every day every week. Girls are not outside of the hostel after 5:30 pm even if it is an emergency, until unless you are in a club

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
