Remarks :
For entering into Regional institute of education students needs to clear common entrance examination (CEE) . Students who are willing for all courses are selected through this common entrance exam. The cut off mark is 75 percentiwhich varies accordingly. The exam will be containing questions about mental ability testing and teaching related questions also with language questions. I heard about this collage from a senior. The collage gives a good quality of education.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because it contains integrated masters degree in physics along with B.Ed in just 6 years. The faculties are phd holders and selected by the NCERT selection interview. Teachers are friendly and the classroom transaction is also good. Internal exam are conducted as C1 and C2 each having 25 marks. Students need to get at least 15 from both C1 and C2. Final examination is C3 having 50 marks along with practical marks.
Internships Opportunities :
The institute create 4 school attachment programme which make the students familiarised with the school environment. Also in the last year students need to go to different JNVs according to allotment and create lesson plans and teach them their prefered subjects.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement counsil in the College ensures employability for the students in schools from states like Karnataka andrapradesh Tamilnadu etc. Regional institute of education offers placement for almost students. A large group of students are getting placement. After degree I'm planning for PHD in physics
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
13000 is the year wise fee we are paying in here. In that 9500 is for the tuition fees and caution money deposit. remaining part of the amount is for Registration fee , student welfare fee, infrastructure development fee, university examination fee, literature & cultural activity fee etc. SC ,ST catagory are paying 7500 for the year wise fees. There are also NCERT scholarship for students who comes under lower annual salary section. Also merit awards given as cashprices for excellence in an academic year.
Campus Life :
RIE MYSORE celebrates almost major festival from the southern india. Onam in August to September, pongal in January Ugadi in March , dasara in October are the major festivals. The institute have library which contains vast collection of books and journals from various languages. Classrooms are supported with projector and other tools. They conduct RIESM which is an interesting RIE sports meet . Also College have sports equipments and support football basketball volleyball cricket etc. There are clubs like literature club , Theatrical club and cosmos club which is fun by students along with help of faculties.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are allotted for students at the admission itself if needed. There are total 6 hostels for students. Hostel food is contractual and 17000 is paid for food per semester. Food provided is vegetarian and karnataka style . Provide food 3 times a day with a fixed menu .Food is okay according to amount given. Hostel is inside the campus itself

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
