- One faculty from the structural engineering department are friendly and helpful
- Campus design is good but not soo appreciable
Dislikes
- Faculty response . Faculty don't judge the students from their point of view but listen to whispers from others and judge the student .
- Assignments are very hectic . Near to exam time instead of studying we used to complete assignments because they also carried marks .
Remarks :
I had heard about MS Ramaiah University from my childhood and school days , hence I chose that college for my masters . Hence I investigated about the college from websites and other advertisements but didn't contacted the alumnis of the college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Not all the faculty members are friendly except few people . Overall not at all a good experience throughout the duration of the course . Unscheduled assignments uneven and strange response from thw faculty members is a big headache .
Internships Opportunities :
I completed my internship in my third semester in Tumkur Karnataka in builtwing technologies.It was a great experience to learn from the expert . The cheif engineer Mr Santhosh Sir [ BE , M.Tech ] was a very friendly and good guy .
Placement Experience :
No placements especially for civil Engineering . College didn't offer any placements for our batch . Only a few people from computer science engineering got placed . Especially for civil engineering regarding courses you cant expect placements from the college to be very honest .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for the complete course is 478000 for 2 years with 1st year fee - 240000 Rs and 2nd year - 238000 Rs. Even though after collecting such a huge amount , college will not offer a good environment as compared to the main branch in MS Ramaiah institute of technology.
Campus Life :
The college is surrounded by an industrial area in Peenya. For even a small need you have to travel 3-4 kms . Campus inside is good but the surroundings of the campus is not all a place yo live . For every small need like xerox shops or buying food , you need to travel atleast 1.5 Kms .
Hostel Facilities :
Not opted for the hostel . I didn't opt for hostel . I daily used to travel from my home to the college . My home is in Tumkur , I used to take bus to reach the college and change the bus in Jalahalli cross.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
