My honest review on the growing college
Likes
- The thing which i like most is the location of the college which is far away from the college and it has very peaceful environment for study in the campus
- And the other thing which i like about the number is the social life and the events which are held in the college every year , there will be many hackathons conducted in the college
Dislikes
- The thing which i did not like much about the college is working days and working hours for the college is less
- And the other thing is the faculty for few subjects in first year especially in first semester is not very good and which is programming subjects faculty
Remarks :
It has a very peaceful environment and it has a great infrastructure facilities which are superior to all other colleges in Hyderabad. AND IT IS A developing and growing college still it has many cons even though it is good in terms of quality of education they provide to students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty count in the college is nearly 500+ and the doubt solving abilities for the teachers are great and the behavior of all the faculty in the college and the only thing is the faculty of the programming subjects is not good overall .
Internships Opportunities :
As iam the first year student i have not opted for any internships and i believe that in future i may be opted and selected for the internships in the future years by the good academic grades of me and the internships opportunities are very great at geethanjali
Placement Experience :
The college provides very good internships although the interns are especially 3rd year students . They are selected for internship programs and those students which has good grades in academics and talking about the placement cell the placements for the final year students are very great and the number of placed students are increasing every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for B.tech is 1.2 lakh and the extra registration fee is 10 K for the cyber security branch .Online transaction charges are not part of the Fee. The following transaction charges shall be applicable: Net Banking / Credit Cards / Debit Cards : As applicable All Fee rules as given in the Fee Book shall remain applicable. The Fee deposited through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking will normally reach the Nrps account after 1- 2 days. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that fee is deposited well in time. Nrps shall not be responsible for any not settled fee payment due any reason. The Nrps also shall not be responsible, if the payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.
Campus Life :
The life at geethanjali is very peaceful and the environment to study and to build and work on new projects is very great . I mean it is the perfect place for the student to grow and to become industry ready till he get graduated.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility is available in the college from the year 2024 only and the hostel is well equipped with 3 sharing rooms for boys and separate hostel for girls and one thing which i didn't like in the hostel is the taste of food which could be improved by the days i think .

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
