Dislikes
- The college is just like school. You've a dress code to follow. If you don't your ID will be confiscated and you must write a letter, get it signed by HoD and then submit it back to the incharge who took your I'd. You must always wear your I'd in campus, and i believe that is a stupid rule as why would I be in a college which i didn't pay for? Why would i attend classes of another department? By the way, the dress code is kurti for girls and collared tees or shirts for boys. And boys always need to wear shoes. In their sense formal wear is kurti for girls and shirts and pants for boys, which doesn't make sense.
- Next, though it is a coed campus, boys and girls are not allowed to sit together in class or in buses. Even if a faculty catches you putting an arm around a girl/boy you will definitely get scolded and at the least you would definitely get a glare. Coming to attendance, a minimum of 75% must be maintained which I guess is fine cause sometimes even if you have less than 75% with a valid reason there are no issues but in some cases, faculty call your parents or ask them to come to college. Our department had a Parent Teacher meeting in the previous semester, which is laughable. It would make sense of it was for students who aren't doing well in class or people who have backlogs but no, it was for all. Like I said feels like school more and college less.
Remarks :
Firstly, I did not choose this college, I got it through EAMCET and this was the only option. So there wasn't any interview, discussion or written test for the admission process. If you're going through EAMCET, all you need are the various certificates( 10th memo, Inter memory, bonafide etc). Make sure to keep a list of all the certificates submitted to the college at the time of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing CSIT branch. Once again, I was given this course not something I picked. There isn't much difference between Cse and csit. The Head of the Department currently, has a PhD while the rest of the faculty in our department are assistant professors. Some of the faculty have excellent knowledge and a good grasp of the subjects they're teaching and explain very well. I like my department because the faculty are jovial, pretty easy going unlike other departments. Though the quality of teaching and educating must be improved. Apart from that it's a good department unfortunately, CSIT department is dissolved and the current two batches are the last. the exams are classified into mids and semesters. There are two mid exams within a semester and at the end of the semester there is final semester exams. We also have labs, both internal and external lab exams in a semester. There are usually about 2 or 3 labs per semester.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So it depends on if you're general, obc, sc/st and so on. I come under general so my fee is around 1 Lakh 50 thousand per year. The fees is usually paid before the beginning of every year. I got allocated to this college through EAMCET, so no registration fee was applied. There may be extra payment which come under the JNTUH payment which as far as I know was only till 1st/2nd year. There is scholarship provided for students who require it, in cases of low annual income of the family and etc. There are some set of rules that needs to be followed for obtaining the scholarship and maintaining it. This is all I'm aware of regarding the fee structure.
Campus Life :
Campus life is pretty fine as long as you have good group of friends. We have a pretty big library at the college but there are no novels, fun books or anything, it is all subject and education related books here.There are about 4+ clubs and each department has its own club. So there are plenty events and activities going on. The came club is the club that ensures fun events like traditional day, annual day, ecstacy, hellnic and other events. The Literature club has events like murder mystery, MUN etc. CIE is like the well known tech club events like Inventron, workshops etc are done by this club and there are many more like them. Once you reach second year you will be able to join these clubs. Sports is a huge thing in our college since the chairman is a sports maniac so sports fest and matches are definitely there. The college has gym, outdoor basketball court and an indoor stadium consisting of indoor badminton courts, billiards room, table tennis room, carroms, chess and so on.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
