Remarks :
GPCET is a s well-known institution in Andhra Pradesh. Because it has an NBA and NAAC 'A+' Accredited meaning that it meets high academic and infrastructure standards. It is recognized by AICTE and affiliated with JNTUA. Our college has tie-ups with the company like Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, catalog, Infosys etc.. The highest package in our college is 25LPA and the average package is around 4 to 5 LPA. Compared to other private colleges in AP, the tuition fee in our college is reasonable. In previous years we do not have labs with all the equipped things but in recent years the infrastructure is our college is changing and they are also modifying the labs with all the necessary things like Wi-fi, Sense Board etc.. Less industry exposure compared to IITs and NIITs
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose CSE because i have my interest in software development and in web technologies as well. The IT Sector offers high-paying jobs, global opportunities. IN the CSE Department most of the faculty members have MTech or Ph.D. Degrees from universities like JNTU, IIT and NITs Faculty members are supportive and approachable especially in helping with projects, internships and doubts clarification. But some professors rely too much on theory instead of practical Implementation. The mid exams held twice and 30 marks each. The external Semester exam have 60 marks. and the remaining 10 marks is for the assignment that they give for each mid-exam and additionally we have the lab exams in every semester the and the marks for the lab exams are 100.
Internships Opportunities :
The college Collaborates with Various IT Companies ,startups and industries for students especially with CS, IT and ECE Domains. The wipro company has offered an internship on Java Full stack to everyone in our department where we have trained on the Java full stack and get certificate.
Placement Experience :
In our college the Placement opportunities are very good. Before the recession time, 90% of the students got placed in our college with an average package to 4 to 5 LPA. And the highest package at that time is around 10LPA. Two of my seniors had cracked that job. But the now due to the recission It being a challenging situation to get more placements and the company is expecting high skilled Freshers. But our college conducted more Workshops and Trainings like DSA Training from Smart Interviews and MERN Stack training from GFG and also conducting the online mode of Aptitude and reasoning everyday in order make students be prepared for the Job. The highest package in our college is 25LPA from Catalog And the average package is around 4 to 5 LPA. The Minimum Percantage should be more than 75% in order to get placements. My current plan is to get placed in an IT role.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
GPCET offers various UG and PG Programs. The Fee structure for the BTech Programs is as follows: 1)Those who have got seat through EAPCET They have to pay the fee of Rs.48000/- per year. 2)Those who didnot get seat through EAPCET Rank i mean through CAT-B they have to pay an annual amount Rs.1,00,000. Additionally They need to pay an amount of Rs.1,00,000 to 4,00,000 In order to book their seat It depend upon the Department You choose. The Students who got selected Through EAPCET and if they are eligible for Fee reimbursement then the govt of AP will pay the entire fee amount for the rest 4 years. Additionally we need to pay the T&P fees very year it may vary from Rs.10,000 to 15,000. And we need to pay for the semester exams and the amount we need to pay is Rs.1220 per semester. And We need to the amount for records as well The amount varies form 250 to 500.
Campus Life :
Our college offers a balanced college life with academics and social Activities, technical clubs and Sports. Every 6 months our college conducts some technical fests where the students from one department organizes the entire fest. They will Discuss with their respective HOD and faculty members of their department and held the technical fests. The Technical fests involved events such as Hackathons, Coding Quiz, and some other events. In every year we celebrate the Cultural Fest It includes dance, music, drama, Mimicry and fashion show. And even they provide Food For us. but the thing is that we need to pay amount for this fest it is around 800 to 1000 per person Our college has an Separate block for the library. We can find all the books that we need for our exams preparation, and we can take the books to our home and we need to return it back after 15 days. In our college students are actively participating in Tournaments like cricket, football, Kabbadi, Tennis and Chess.
Hostel Facilities :
In our college we do not have college hostel for boys. we have the hostel only for girls. The amount for the Girls hostel is around 70,000 to 1,00,00 per year. And i had stayed in the nearby hostel named Reddy' s Boys Hostel which is located at Checkpost Kurnool Its is just 2km from our college. The montly fee is around 5000/- we need to pay early. They will provide you nonveg every wednesday and sunday and for veg people they wont provide anything because in that hostel we have all non-vegetarians. I am the only person we does not eat Non-veg So generally i used to go out and have my food in Wed and Sun. The tiffins they provide are: Mon- Upma Tue-lemon rice Wed-Borugulu Thu- Mysore bonda Fri-Idly Sat- Pongal Sun-Dosa(limit) They are 3 sharing rooms and as well 6 sharing rooms but the amount is fixed. Even we can stay on daily-basis for that the amount is Rs.300 per day. They Have CC Cameras with night vision and Wifi. If you want to be secure They i will recommend this PG.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
