- I like the affordability , legacy of our college the most also its diverse opportunities but more than anything i am honored to study at a college which has produced many social workers and scientists.
- One has all the available resources at their disposal in all fields like Sports, Art , Creative pursuits , Literary clubs etc.
Dislikes
- The Academic rigor should be less as it can create a sense of burden on a student's life
- Placements and skill driven courses should be more promoted to develop students in working for the corporate sector
Remarks :
Admissions are done by results of CUET-UG exam on the basis of merit and reservation. There are no GD/PI rounds as for the matter . One should clear Cuet ug with excellent marks to avail admission in our colllege since cutoffs are high for that matter specially in high demand courses like economics and political science . Good Part - Vibrant Campus Life Reasonable Fees Experienced faculty Prestigious Legacy and Reputation Bad Part- Academic rigor , semester exams are roughly checked Weak Placement Legacy as most students opt for masters or govt. exams Traditional course topics as technology develops courses should be updated
Course Curriculum Overview :
I got EMS combination in BHU which is (economics maths statistics) , it is the top demanded course in BA Hons and also the most rigourous given it is maths heavy . Statistics and economics are very much required in today,s world as it is widely used in the financial and data analytics businesses , Faculty is highly experienced and all professors are Phd done with research topics published in their own field . Exams are conducted semester wise in 6 months.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are available after completion of 2nd year but it is more depended upon one's own interests . Internships in marketing , sales , consulting are available in our college which are mainly promoted in summer break . One gets decent stipend upto 15k/month for good internships.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not the first priority for students here as most of them opt for masters or govt. exams but it is not non existent as placements are done for some courses like economics or statistics students and it ranges from 3lpa-10lpa . Highest Package - 10 lpa , avg package - 6 lpa My plans are for masters as after masters one has good opportunities in their respective domains and could earn easily above 20 lpa .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As our college is a central government established institute so our fees is fully subsidised by the government . Fees of B.A(Hons) course is 3420/year incl. taxes , scholarships are available for need-based SC/ST students and whole fees is sponsored by college then.
Campus Life :
Many Fests like Spandan , Abhikalpan , Sanskriti , Dev diwali, Saraswati puja and many more are celebrated with full preparation . Our library is the biggest library in all of asia and can cater to 1500 students at max , it consist of 3 lac books and scriptures also our cyber library is there where any student can go and access online learning platforms with free high speed wifi We have over 20 grounds in campus area with all the sports given with a specific area . Extracurricular activities are highly promoted in our college by professors and coaches .There is Taran Taal (Swimming club) , Tennis club and many more, Student run clubs and groups are present in our college with each club with a specific niche of their own like debating club , dance club , music club, civil services club, economics club and many more .
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but my friends live there , I live outside campus area in a rented Pg , Students are provided full course meals in bhu hostels which costs 50/meal and it is like a restaurant based service like also quantity of food is unlimited and taste is good as per mess norms .

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
