Getting to know about National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra
Remarks :
The main factor for choosing this college was that it was near my hometown. So it helped me by lessening the travel hours and which i can utilize in other things. For the admission i gave the prestigious JEE mains examination. By scoring a decent rank i got this college. I prepared for the exam by taking coaching in 11th and 12th grades. There are many good aspects of the college that many fests are organized in a year. The faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful. It has a lush green campus and nice gardens and view.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as i had interest in electronics and semiconductors. I always wanted to choose this as my career option. The faculty of the college is very qualified from colleges and institutes like National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology, etc. The teaching method is also very good. The term exams occur in every 2 months in a semester. The difficulty level of these exams is not so high. Anyone who has studied attentively in the class is able to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
No i have not opted for any internship opportunity in my college as of now. The internships are offered from 7th 8th semester. There are many companies that visit our college for hiring and take many students based on their skills and knowledge.
Placement Experience :
There are many placements and job opportunities that occur in our college. Many companies come for offers in the college. The eligibility criteria is such that there should not be any backlog in any semester in any subject to avail the opportunity of internship and placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee to pay for the whole course is around 3 lakh without mess fees. The fees is to be paid in the beginning of each semester. The fees is different for different annual income. It is divided based on three categories: income with less than 1 lakh per annum, between 1 to 5 and above 5 lakh. So different percentages of fees are lessened for different incomes. i will be paying a total of around 17000 for tuition fees, around 26000 as the student activity fee, and same for institute development fees, 12000 for examination fees for each semester and there are many miscellaneous charges which are to be paid only in the first semester. There are some scholarships that students can avail externally. I have not availed any.
Campus Life :
College life at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra is very good. There are many clubs and societies that remain active throughout the year. The infrastructure of the college is very good. It has many buildings and hostels in which thousands of students live without any difficulty. The name of the fest that is conducted in our college is Confluence. It is for 3 days and it is very grand fest of our college. Another good fest is Techspardha. It is related to coding, fun games, and mind challenging quizzes and many more. These happen in the months of October and February respectively.
Hostel Facilities :
Campus life of the college is very good. I have opted for hostel. I have got a single seater room in my second year. In first year all students get a triple seater room. The food quality is fine and menu keeps on changing as per requirement of the students.

The professors are highly approachable and are well versed with their subjects. Use of new innovative teaching techniques are used. Strictly follows PCI guidelines, conducting 2 sessional exams followed by final semester exam.

You're eligible for job if you're in your final year and not have any backlog in any subjects of the previous semesters then you can participates in the placement drive cells happens every year , the highest package was about 4 lakh and the average package was 1 lakh 50 thousand and about 60-70 percent students were placed

Its career development department helps students to get good placements. Many known pharmaceutical firms come here. This shows that students who complete a B.Pharm. degree at this university can have great career opportunities.

You have to be in the last semester to receive placemnet offers. There is no explicit eligibility criteria for it though. Some of the recruiters here include Manipal, Appolo, Fortis, Medanta. The highest package that i heard was 8LPA and teh average is around 4-5LPA. About 50-60% stduents acceot the placements. I personally want to be a paramedic at a top notch facility.
