Remarks :
The admission process only included the JEE Mains exam. Your rank in jee mains decides which college you can get like my category rank was 2921 in jee mains so I got electrical engineering at MNIT. There was no GD or interview for the admission. My experience at MNIT is overall good. The only problem is the food at girls hostel while all other things are very good. The environment at MNIT is ragging free, our seniors are always there to help us. Facilities are all good like dispensary is available for medical aid and we have vending machines at hostel. Night canteen is also there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties at MNIT are highly qualified. I chose this course just out of my interest in electrical engineering. Some of the electrical professors are too open while others are a bit strict but those who are strict are the best at teaching. Teaching style of every professor is different, some teach through ppt. Exams are mid semester and end semester exams held regularly. Mid semester exams are of 30 marks and end semester exams are of 50 marks while internals are of 20 marks.
Internships Opportunities :
There are various companies that come to offer paid internship like JSW offers 25000 per month for a period of 2 months, JPMC offers 1 lakh per month per 80000 per month for an internship of 6 months. These companies also offer PPOs to the selected students based on their performance.
Placement Experience :
Placements are also very good. We get a lot of opportunities as a number of companies visit us for campus recruitment. Some major employers are Deloitte, JPMC, Deutsche Bank, google, cisco, marvels, NXP semiconductors, HLS Asia, JSL, Bajaj, Chetak and many more both in core as well as non core. JPMC has hired about 10 interns this time. Most of the students get placed only difference is that some will get a nominal package while others will be high according to the job profiles.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For SC,ST,PWD the tution fees is zero. The tution fees per semester for general candidates with income above 5 lakhs is 62500. The tution fees for OBC students with income range 1 lakh to 5 lakhs is rs 20834 per semester. Institute fees for all categories for odd semester is rs 17565 and forward even semester is rs 16800. Institute fees includes admission fees of rs 1500, development fees rs 3000, library and book bank rs 1750, computer/internet fees rs 2750, sports and creative arts society fees rs 2500, students welfare fees rs 1000, industrial training and placement fees rs 1500, examination fees rs 800, laboratory fees rs 2000 and insurance fees of rs 765 that is charged annually. Mess advance per semester is rs 20000. Hostel caution money for new entrants is rs 12000. Hostel and mess admission fees rs 3000, room rent charges is rs 6000 per semester and light/water. There are various scholarship schemes available for students like Top class SC scholarship that I have availed.
Campus Life :
Life at MNIT is wonderful. There are several clubs to promote extracurricular activities among students like music club, dance club, poetry club, quiz club, travel and heritage club, photography club, debating club, etc. We have two fests here, one is the cultural fest blitzschlag held in February and other one is the technical fest Sphinx held in November. Fest is for three days, the first two nights are DJ night and band night while the third night is the most awaiting at which the artist performs. This time at Blitzschlag we also had a prom night. Artists like jubin nautiyal, shaan, Vishal mishra, harsh gujral and mithoon have been to MNIT for performing at the pronite. Sports complex is there to promote sports activities, our college also participates in Inter NIT tournament and organizes inter branch tournament. We also have a gym for both boys and girls.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is very good. Rooms are big enough, have cupboard, bed, table and chair. There is no issue of water and electricity at hostel. Food quality and taste is not up to the mark. Hostel is affordable. I have already provided the charges above. You can also rent a room or PG nearby MNIT.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
