Good aspect about this college is that it is located in clean, green and calm environment and the facilities here are better compared to other colleges. The only bad thing about this college is that it is located around 4-5km away from Laxmeshwar town, so commuting becomes a problem.
The course curriculum follows VTU syllabus which is standard across Karnataka. The faculty were qualified with M.Tech and Ph.D. The course consists of 8 semesters (2 semesters in each year). Teaching method was blackboard and PPT.
I did not opt for an internship, however the college conducted an 3 days internship option for Mechanical students at Robert Bosch, Mysore (including Hydraulics and Pneumatics). The internship options for other courses were limited.
The college had a good functional placement team, the eligibility criteria varied from company to company. However, most of the companies needed 70% in overall to be eligible for placements. Percentage of students getting placed was less than 50%.
Yearly fee was around 45,000 Rs. It includes Karnataka CET fees of 33,000Rs and College fees of around 10,000Rs. College fees includes all the Tuition fees, Registration fees, Exam fees etc. SC/ST students were exempted from paying KCET fees.
SKSVMACET, Laxmeshwar conducts Annual fest every year, The library has a good collection of books and journals. The college has a sports ground inside the campus. The college has some voluntary clubs like NSS etc.
I did not opt for the hostel. However, the college had decent hostels for both boys and girls within the college campus itself. The hostels were clean, neat and food will be provided in morning, afternoon and evening.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
